We had a great dining experience at the Black Bear Diner. It was the perfect stop to escape the other high price resturants in the area. They were very accomodating for our large party and service was excellent.Vegetarian options: Not too many options though it is possible with salad and if the vegetarian eats eggs and fish.

I wish i could give zero stars. I ordered a turkey club on Friday and got food poisoning and now it's 4 days later and I'm still sick and have to go back to the hospital. I called to speak to the manager on multiple occassions never got a call back. Today I called I was put on the phone with Judith whom is not the manager, then I was hung up on. Just to have to call back and finally get a hold of Frank the manager. He told me I need to take it up with my doctor and was extremely dismissive. He didn't do anything to try to save the relationship and never apologized. I will never do business here again and I have many connections in Marin and will make sure I spread the word. This is unacceptable. Eat here at your own risk. My whole family is sick from this place.

Went with a group of seven for Sunday breakfast. We had a nice table and attentive wait staff. The atmosphere is super casual and relaxed. The coffee is basic, American, over cooked, and weak at premium prices. The eggs Benedict were perfect. Our share for a basic breakfast and coffee with tip was $30. A little rich for my blood, but worth it to share the company of friends.Kid-friendliness: Yes. Noise will go unnoticed. Pretty sure they have highchairs.

Came here after a long early morning! I had nothing to eat so I was starving and to my surprise Black Bear was around the corner from us! We were greeted right away and seated! I got my usual mini volcano, my bf got himself a new york steak, and my lil bestie got herself a kids pancakes in the shape of a Micky mouse, how cute! We made a few modifications on her meal which was not a big deal. Loved our food as we always do at Black Bear definitely our go-to spot for breakfast! The service here was amazing definitely will be stopping here again!!

Terrible food quality. Party of five, and four of us regretted our meals. Issues ranged from tough tri tip, frozen cocktail sauce that came with shrimp, unseasoned grits, uncooked fries, gray and chewy ribs, and rotten tomato on brother's salad. They don't have regular ranch dressing. Should have complained and refused to pay, but we were all too tired.
Service was a little slow, but the food was good and pleasant atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking in the front of the restaurant.
