Stacy has been doing all my catering for many years. Both the food and her staff are always the best. My highest recommendations!!!.

Great food, great service. Her poached chicken Mediterranean salad is to die for, as are her fruit salad and salmon platter! She did our daughter's baby shower and it was extraordinary, as well as reasonable. I see a complaint from someone who states that she pockets her servers' tips. I don't believe that. She asked me to tip them directly and I did. Stacy is a woman of great integrity who does a lot for our community - from donating to the symphony and other fabulous non-profits, to running the Vivalon Cafe for seniors. I am grateful to her and so are many, many others.

I have heard from several people who have been hired to work with Stacy Scott as servers, kitchen help and bartenders for her events, that she pockets all of their gratuities. We're talking significant amounts of money as the serving team will often work long hours and may receive $100-150 tips from the client. That is, when they work with other caterers, not Stacy. All of the clients who have in the past hired Stacy Scott are no doubt unaware that the gratuities they paid to the servers were never shared with them. Aside from the theft she commits following each and every one of her events (would be eye-opening to look at her books), Stacy lacks all sense of integrity and ethics. The word is out as I've been told some staffing agencies won't work with her any longer.

Where do I begin?! Stacy is AMAZING!! She catered our wedding July 2021 and we are still getting compliments on the food. Stacy has been in the catering industry for years and comes highly recommended by so many. She knows food, she knows brides, she knows it all. She offered the occasionally therapy sesh when it came to family challenges as well! Literally the only thing I cared about during the whole engagement and planning process was the food and we nailed it! She tailored a menu to our budget and met all of our needs and really broke down the rental aspect giving me specific information to request through our rental company. I will definitely work with her for any future catering needs.

We love Stacy and her food! Stacy catered our wedding and from the first phone call we knew we were in good hands. Working with Stacy you have to let go and trust. She is an expert at what she does and know if you let her do her thing she will deliver above and beyond. We cannot tell you how many family and friends not only on the day of the wedding, but more importantly in the days that followed, reached out and let us know how incredible the food was. Every comment was an iteration of "best wedding food ever." And those comments came from foodies and tough critics in attendance. Everything we had was so good and even better than it was at our tasting. Highly recommend.

We heard about Stacy from our wedding planner and from the first phone call we knew we were in good hands with Stacy. She may not provide a fancy, formal bid, but does that matter when you trust your gut that she will deliver? And she did. No added charges and fees. It was a simple cost per person which included food, linen rentals, etc. She also really helped guide us to make great decisions when we were unsure what to serve. Working with Stacy (as is the case with any vendor), you have to let go and trust. She is an expert at what she does and just know if you let her do her thing she will deliver above and beyond. Now for the FOOD. We cannot tell you how many family and friends not only on the day of the wedding, but more importantly in the days that followed, reached out and let us know how incredible the food was. Every comment was an iteration of "best wedding food ever." And those comments came from foodies and tough critics in attendance. Everything we had was so good and better than it was at our tasting. All of the guests complemented us how they felt attended to and loved how Stacy's staff kept the wine flowing at the table during dinner as well. We highly recommend and would love to work with Stacy again.

Just finished having lunch at a catered affair at WildCare and oh my, these vegetarian noodles are the best! :)

We picked up a marvelous, middle-eastern dinner for two last evening, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a complete meal with generous portions. It included an appetizer, salad, main course and sides. The flavors were wonderful and something we don't cook, here at home. Beautifully done!In addition, it benefits a local charity. Stacy is a smart, successful business woman with a generous heart. She's been working low-key in the Marin community for many years. Many local not-for-profits benefit from her efforts and contributions. Thank you, and keep up the good work! We will be back soon.

Stacey has always been the best. We have dealt with Stacey for over 20 years. She has catered 2 of our daughters weddings, numerous holiday parties. Now that she is doing individual meals we are in heaven

Great people, food, and service! Chuck and the team went above and beyond, ensuring that we got fabulous salmon dishes, tangy gazpacho, and even accommodated a swapout of a side dish. They were kind, friendly, helpful, and very personable. Oh, and the food--outstanding! Delicious, generous portions, and a fantastic value for the price. What a find. Highly recommended.

We have enjoyed Stacy's creations for years at events that she had catered, so when we learned that she was doing takeout dinners during the lockdown we had to give her a try. To say it was a good decision is a huge understatement. She prepares a new menu each week, of amazing and inventive choices. Grilled, wild caught salmon, wine braised shortribs, handmade pastas, just as examples, all with side dishes you could never duplicate at home. And although we virtually never eat desserts, hers are irresistible. Everything is packed in eco-friendly containers and ready to heat in just a few minutes. And her prices are unbelievable. I can't recommend her Michelin quality dinners highly enough.

I found out about this catering service through an email from the Marin Symphony. So I tried it out. First a salmon dinner, and then, next, a sauerbraten dinner (both dinners included veggies and the sauerbraten meal included potato pancakes). Both were generous portions and delicious. What a nice break - as I have been mostly "stay at home" - from cooking myself. Excellent pricing and service. Highly recommended.

Like many, I found out about this business through word-of-mouth. They have won numerous awards and have several big name clients, including Barack and Michelle Obama as well as former Oracle CEO Larry Ellison. The seasoning and taste of the dishes are amazing and the quality of the ingredients very impressive that it truly is the Art of Good Taste. Back in 2015, Best of Marin featured an article mentioning a change of the guard in the kitchen at the 65-year-old Whistlestop's Jackson Café. Marin resident and catering veteran Stacy Scott had been appointed culinary director and her husband and business partner, Chuck Ciaccio, as the new manager. Scott and Ciaccio have also continued to operate their 30-year-old catering business Stacy Scott Catering, which is a five time winner of Pacific Sun's Best of Marin. With COVID-19, Scott and Ciaccio have rolled up their sleeves and now offer individual meals for locals that are available during this pandemic for pick up at Whistlestop (and delivery for orders of $50 or more). Each week's menu is featured on their website with prices that seem very affordable, especially given the abundance of local and fresh ingredients in each dish. First of all, the food once plated looks just like the pictures on their website. I ordered the White Salmon Filet. The salmon and beans were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was so delicious I ended up eating an entire slice of bread just so I could dip it in the sauce. My partner ordered the Eastern European Style Sweet and Savory Beef Brisket. The brisket was tender, the sauce tasty and it came with so much vegetables. The portions are huge, and I was able to turn the salmon and bean leftovers into a breakfast burrito the next day. I hear they may be adding kid friendly dishes soon. Whistlestop is a San Rafael nonprofit that promotes the independence, well-being and quality of life of older adults and people living with disabilities in Marin County. The price point and quality of the food seem to be consistent with Scott and Ciaccio's history of volunteering, by giving locals the option to have good healthy meals during this difficult time without breaking the bank and even going beyond that by donating 15% of the proceeds to Marin nonprofits, featured on their website. This week's charity is Marin Community Clinics.
