Wow! We tried the Fried Fish Tacos, El Gobernador Tacos, Mar y Tierra (surf & turf)Tacos and they were all delicious. The portions were generous and all the ingredients were super fresh. Can’t wait to come back for more.
Was staying in San Diego and decided to make the quick drive down to San Ysidro to try the fish tacos at Marisco German. I could literally see the border and Tijuana from the 905 right before I dropped into Beyer Blvd. The truck is at the rear of the San Ysidro Liquor parking lot. Makeshift benches and a tall table to stand and eat are there for those who wish to order "for here" tacos. I did, as there are other good sauces there to try. Mom and I went to this taco truck (almost hidden behind the liquor store it parks beside) recently. Wow....the batter on the fish was fried to perfection and not greasy. We took them to go and once we unwrapped them 10 minutes later at home, they were still hot and wonderful. How do they do that? Oh, and the free fish soup was superb too. We paid eight dollars for the 4 basic tacos and it was worth every cent.
