Want to start off by saying my rating is solely based off my experience on 3/23/2024. We arrived during the dinner rush & the host kindly let us know it’d be a 10 minute wait, which we had no problem with. The supervisor or manager came & questioned the host & ended up being extremely rude & demeaning to the host because we didn’t get seated immediately? It didn’t stop there though the same supervisor was visibly stressed & was putting that stress on his employees & was being rude to them. It was uncomfortable & obvious to the public. I understand that there was a dinner rush & I’m sure they were understaffed but as someone that has worked retail a supervisor shouldn’t use that as an excuse to throw demands & attitude at their workers. I did see that he was doing his part by serving food when it was ready & trying to help in other ways, but he really failed at staying professional & respectful to his workers. I really felt for his team. The waiters & host did such an AMAZING job at hustling during the rush even with their boss making the situation worse. I’m hoping Adan (supervisor) reads this review & really works on his teamwork skills. His team deserves a better leader & I think he can be that person if he just took a chill pill & learned to give constructive feedback at an appropriate to his workers rather than threatening to send them home (yes we witnessed his say this to the host).

The Conscientious Critique
California Pizza Kitchen is a classic restaurant chain that remains pretty consistent with it’s quality and service. If you have a choice between here and the alternitive next door, Applebee’s, save yourself the heartache and lost money… CPK hands down.Welcomed in. Clean and fun atmosphere. Easy order. Food was presented as advertised and requested. The plating was on point! Hats off to kitchen staff. Appetizer was the dumplings and they did not disappoint. The pizza and salad combo was a great choice and came in at a strong 8.5 out of 10. The king Pao spaghetti with chicken was a delicious choice and was packed with flavor and had a generous portion of chicken. Paired well with the house bread and oil at table. Desert was a true treat. The Key Lime Pie was a fantastic bite with plenty of scrumptious key lime flavor. The chocolate soufflé was a delight with a scoop of vanilla ice cream nestled on top of a chocolate soufflé pillow in the middle of chocolate sauce.. Like an heavenly island in the flavor sea of life. Sabrina was a fantastic server with a refreshing and pleasant personality. Great location, great food…. That’s what you deserve, thats what you get.

02.20.24 I came here for lunch with my coworkers. There were about 8 of us. Service was pretty good. Food was pretty good, too. There seemed to be a delay or lag from ordering to getting our food on the table. Other than that, CPK and other CPK locations, at least for me, has been pretty good (hits the mark) with freshness and taste of food and pretty good customer service.Parking was pretty good that day we came. It could be because it was raining pretty much the whole day. Parking can be tough because of mall goers but not this visit.

This location is a go to for our family and an easy spot to hit when we need to satisfy the varying food preferences of our teenage kids. We come about once every other week and have always gotten excellent service. This particular location, which is attached to the Main Place Mall and is relatively clean, tends to be less busy and we are typically sat pretty quickly. They have an outdoor patio as well and while it's on the small side, it's functional. We used to have Jack as our server but he recently got another job so we now have Sophie as our server and she's always really attentive & friendly. The food runners are always kind and helpful as well. As for the food, the kids love the Mac N cheese, the pastas are a fave, and the pizzas are always good. My go-to is the Gluten Free Pepperoni. Best Gluten free pizza I have had anywhere. The crust tastes great and I almost prefer it over the normal crust. I know this is a chain restaurant so don't expect anything super upscale or exciting, but it does the job of providing different options for families that will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

Drinks never came, but I didn’t bother asking for it.The location also could use a deep cleaning ceiling and food station area had layers of thick dust/dirt.

Awesome deals and good food. $6 for a pizza and a beer. That's the best deal around and fresh pizza's. Not to mention the beer is really good. Great service great atmosphere definitely recommend it. Take advantage of the happy hour specials.
