I was super skeptical about ordering ceviche again after I had a bad experience two weeks ago at a different place. But I was craving it and took a chance with this place. I'm glad I did. I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostadas with octopus and also the fish ceviche tostadas also with octopus. Both were fantastic. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. It had the perfect kick to it, not too spicy. I just wish the portions were just a bit larger but that's just the glutton in me talking. I'm really glad this place opened up. It's near my house so you bet I'll be coming here often.

Their famous food truck has long been one of my most frequented spots in Santa Ana. I still have yet to find another place that can compare to the freshness, quality, flavors, and unique combinations of seafood, including octopus and sting ray. The seafood is prepared several ways, spicy, poached, pan-fried, stewed or a combination of them, all wrapped inside a tortilla shell. Arguably my favorite taco truck in Santa Ana now has a sit-down restaurant as well.The choices of ceviche and tostadas are must-try dishes as well.Their sauces are also awesome, even legendary. Everything I need to say, I have said it in my review of their taco truck. Now, they added a new, clean dine-in restaurant, in addition to three new tostada dishes. Major kudos to Jerry, the restaurant manager, for listening to his patrons like me that wanted to enjoy their fantastic seafood tacos with the convenience of indoor seating. The family recipes originate from the Mexican state of Sonora. Not only did they bring their famous family recipes with them here, they brought the people that prepared the food with them. Their schedules get rotated so some days they work at the food truck and other days they work at the restaurant. This virtually guarantees there will be consistency in food preparation. Service is great and helpful in answering all your questions. If you love Mexican style seafood and fish tacos, make this your first stop in Santa Ana.

What's Good: Sopa De Variedad soup is so good - healthy amount and variety of seafood in a delicious broth. Definitely order a Ceviche or two - they don't skimp on the (not-your-average) Tostadas which make a great pairing. The ceviche we prefer are:- Ceviche Pescado con Pulpo- Ceviche Camaron con Pulpo- Ceviche Mixto Perrona (spicy)The menu is confusing if you're looking for ceviche, just order from the first 5 items under the "Tostadas" section. I've had my fair share of confusion over the phone for a takeout order. Numbers on the menu would help. Pescado a la Pancha Taco (Grilled Fish) is really good and so is the Chicharron Taco (Crunchy Fried Fish Chunks). Tacos come with sauces which is necessary but be careful of the white one, it's more spicy than it looks. Orange one is surprisingly milder.Other Notes: they also own a food truck, so this listing is the storefront. Just to avoid any confusion.
Placed an order for pick up and forgot to order extra sauce and instead of charging me the guy in the order pick up desk gave them to me for free. Great service and also really delicious tacos! The sauces marry the tacos perfectly will definitely be going back!

The shrimp cocktail is delicious. Not as packed as other places but good flavor nonetheless. Also had the marlin fish tacos and those were good as well. Plumb and flavorful. I would definitely eat here again!
