I went because it was recommended to me and I was just passing through, but it doesn't really matter. If the place is clean or they serve you well, if what matters is the food. And it is very expensive. The rice tastes like cardboard. The meat is hard. Dry and has too much seasoning. It's more like cardboard seasoning than Mexican food. Not really. I recommend it, I won't go back, how expensive it is, it doesn't matter. If the food is perfect, apart from the fact that the food didn't even have avocado, the sauce wasn't spicy, it was tasteless, just plain water flavor.

Super friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in, talked about the food and got to know staff. The recipe they used to make my meal was from the 50s or 60s, very authentic. Felt like it was home made. The waitress was attentive as well. The Chile relleno

Love love love this place!! We were looking for authentic Mexican on a Friday night and tried this place around the corner from our airbnb, and this place hit the spot! Chill atmosphere, beautiful family owned restaurant. The food portions were great for the price and best of all-- DELICIOUS. It's definitely worth a visit. You won't regret it!

Always had passed by this restaurant for so many years, finally when I have been searching for a place that serves a specific type of soup, this place was recommended 9.9 out of 10. They did not disappoint!! I will be back soon, AND with more people, cannot wait to try all they have to offer in their menu.Unfortunately, or more so, understandably, I did not take a picture, I had scarfed all of it so quickly. I kid you not, I feel like this soup gave me HP+ once I finished it, that Mario power up sound was all I heard when I had finished it.

This was definitely a hole in the wall vibe. The inside feels like you have been transported to the 70s. The food was also authentic and homemade. I ordered the chicken enchiladas plate. It was delicious, but the Verde sauce had some spice in case you can't handle that. My husband ordered the carnitas and rates it 7.5 out of 10 ten being the best he's ever had. We dug the food and atmosphere so will come again and try other dishes.
