My family and I walked here from our hotel. Excellent food. The line caught fish tacos were really good. The fried lobster burrito was also really good. Chips and salsa were spot on. Get the coco loco cocktail ?
We were die hard El Torito fans since the early 90's. My daughter, now in her 30's, would visit there at least once per week, until I turned her on to Le Cebollita. This is the new family favorite. The only bad thing is that it's not close to either of our homes. However, it's worth the drive and makes it more special. Chips are good, salsa is the right heat, and drinks are refreshing. For a school project my son had to go to an authentic Mexican restaurant and order in Spanish. The waitress practiced with him, and even re-recorded him ordering to be sure it was perfect. The food was amazing, and service beyond expectations.
