I have never complained about food that I have eaten out but I could not let this go. My daughter and I went to Long John Silvers on 17th street this last Monday, looking forward to eating their cod. First off there was no cod, only pollock. The fish was so salty and so were the fries, & to top it off one of the Cole slaw servings had a hair locked into it with the lid. Everything from the fish, fries and hush puppies was so salty they were unedible. DON'T EAT HERE!!!

This location was nice enough. It took a while to get someone to take my order. The tables were pretty dirty, and when I received my food the fish/chicken was a little over cooked. I still enjoyed my food but it could have been better

They fry the KFC chicken with th LJS fish. The sides are KFC.The fried food, shrimp, fish, hush puppies all taste like KFC chicken.Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to ask if I wanted to order.Apparently I was standing at the wrong counter, so they didn’t bother.

I have to give five stars because on the day we visited everything was served fresh and piping hot. We didn't get KFC, only LJ's. And it was off the hook. The ladies working were very friendly and deserve a shout out. The food was so good! We really hit the jackpot coming here.

Haven't eaten at this restaurant since living in Louisiana as a boy. It was as good as I remember. I'm glad it still exists

The staff is nice, the food? you already know the taste of the colonel recipe.

Think about building a store in Covina, you'd do very well here. The closest store to us is Santa Ana 23 miles away, too far for us.

My order was for KFC chicken. Very accommodating for my large order for senior church picnic. Was ready exactly when requested. Only complaint I had was the dark meat was a little greasy.

The same great fish i remember from the 1970s. Sad that it's so hard to find a working LJS these days. Workers were overwhelmingly helpful even though way understaffed -- let my family in to eat when we needed a little extra assistance, though it was officially drive-thru only at that time. They were saints.

The kfc chicken sandwich was fine but everything else to the fries, fish and tenders were either overcooked or been sitting in the hot cabinet for hours, not enjoyable at all. I dont recommend it at all. Very unsatisifed.

Just avoid this place. Went through the drive through this evening and ordered 3 chicken plank meals. Repeated my order 3 times before I got to the window. I spent over $22. Got home to find out I was given 3 fish meals. Went all the way back to the store with my receipt and the uneaten food. I was treated like a criminal because the idiot at the window said my receipt showed only one fish meal. How does one fish meal cost over $22? This amount was clearly shown on my receipt. Had to argue over 10 minutes until the idiot called her supervisor over and the supervisor pulled the register tape and admitted I was right. There was no reason to try to treat me like a criminal. Just avoid this place. Bad food and and bad attitudes to match.

I wanted fish & was in the area so I tried their add a piece of fish & shrimp & I really enjoyed it because it was made to order! This LJS is together with KFC & I tried their 5 piece tender meal & a chicken little. The tenders were ok but I noticed on my receipt I was supposed to get a side I did not receive. I only got fries, tenders, sauces, my drink and one biscuit. I would recommend this LJS since there is not many left.

Just pretty much about the last Long John silver's in Orange county. I love their chicken planks and I dip them in their tartar sauce, that's the only thing I eat from there. It's so cool that they have a KFC and Long John silver combo store, sadly it's in Santa Ana and it's the only one nearby.

I always enjoyed LJS. Was sad when locations started closing, especially since there's not any alternative.
