Mediocre for a restaurant that used to be well known as first class. We dined during a Valentine's ptomo but wasn't worth the orice even though it was supposed to be a special

I've been dining with Morton's for a while and it's usually for special occasions (graduations, Christmas, birthday's) So this past Easter was no exception. I made reservations, Which was super easy and they had my top time choice available. It helps when you make it early. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated right away. The environment was warm and inviting, not too loud even though they were busy. I never felt rushed and I never felt like I was waiting for service. We started off with cocktails and the bacon wrapped scallops, which are always delicious. Morton's bread is unique and tasty. I dream about their wedge salad that always comes out so cold and crisp. The cajun ribeye is always cooked to perfection. We also tried the truffle creamed corn, that's new to the menu and wow, fantastic. I ended our meal with coffee and it was so delicious. Thank you to the staff and management for checking on us and making sure we had a wonderful Easter. It was so great that I was back a week later! No special occasion needed!!

Food was delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Ribeye was crispy on the outside seasoned perfectly while pink and juicy in the inside. Drinks were perfect as well. Probably the best mojito I have tasted anywhere and lemon drop martini was great as well.

Just an FYI Anna at Morton responded to this review. However, her response was BS. I've never heard anything since she reached out and plenty of time has passed. Morton's has gone completely downhill. From my daughter's very expensive purse being stolen, and Morton's having no cameras in the restaurant to protect their patrons or themselves, the terrible service we received, the subpar food, and the management, not responding to the theft we incurred in a positive manner or the follow up, on this yelp review proves it

We've eaten at the Morton's Harbor Blvd. location several times, and decided to give this one a try since our daughter was awarded a gift certificate by her work. It's maybe ten miles further from our home and we agreed worth the drive compared to Anaheim. This review is based on a 4:00 reservation on a Sunday afternoon. First advantage is that there is a ton of free parking. The inside of the restaurant follows the Morton's theme - pretty dark, old school, traditional American steakhouse. Cool. We were greeted quickly and seated in about a minute. Nice corner booth, which I asked for when I made the reservation. Service here was outstanding. They are very attentive and checked on us with just the right frequency to ensure we had whatever we needed. Their wine list is extensive. Our food was excellent. I had the small Filet Mignon and it was cooked to my taste (medium rare), with their house salad. Great dressing! My wife had the lobster macaroni, and that was very good. My daughter had a salad and the truffle string fries. The manager on duty, Aly, spent a few very nice minutes with us which was enjoyable. Our server, Alex (Alexandria) was perfect. Very friendly, professional, and efficient. She's also one of the bartenders there.

Always good experience here at Morton's. I love that they make time to personalized my anniversary in Dec and my birthdays in March. Will continue to celebrate them here. Food and staff are great. Thank you!

We went for dinner last night and got the filet mignon with creamed spinach. I just wished the steak had more sauce. Good thing the mashed potato was tasty and creamed spinach perfectly complemented the steak. By the time we finished, the restaurant was still full on a Thursday night. I guess people love the food as we do.

Everything is great (but..). They have the Best salads. Best steaks. Best sides. Best service. Best ambiance. But the Key Lime pie sucks! It used to be really good and tasty and tart. Now it is super sweet and you can barely tell its Key Lime pie. If you closed your eyes and had them give you any piece of pie and they gave you Key Lime pie you would have a really hard time figuring out what it is. They need to use the old recipe they had for years until the last couple years. Still gave them five stars because everything else is so perfect.

☆☆☆☆The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The cocktails were well made and strong. Steaks were done to perfection. and my chop salad was delicious. The Au Grautin potatoes were ok. The only real negative was that our table was wobbly.Overall, yes, I would recommend Mortons, The Steakhouse.7 cocktails, 4 steaks, 1 lobster tail, 4 salads, 1 lobster bisque soup, 1 Frech Onion soup. $550+tip. Not too bad for 6 people.

My wife and I had what we thought would be a nice dinner at Morton's in Santa Ana. we like to eat early and arrived at 5:30 on Saturday. Unfortunately we didn't know about the wine dinner held that evening for some 150 people.... Our waiter was pleasant but did talk too fast probably because he had a few too many tables to serve. He also mentioned the soufflé one too many times. I also like to bring my own wine and the waiter opened it and it sat there. He came by with my wife's martini and didn't touch the wine for the evening. Again too busy with other tables. Then our steaks were delivered, one dry aged and one prime rib eye. After a time we figured out that they switched up our steaks. I asked for the kitchen manager as I wanted to know which steak was which and the general manager appeared. He didn't know which was which as it is in the taste, I was not happy and will apologize again. He took off our $35 corkage and asked what he could do to make it right. At that time I was ready to go home as we couldn't start over. $200 later and a 20%+ tip we won't be back.

Brownie points for being the last minute restaurant that has lobster and filet mignon in their Oder out menu!! service was right, no issues no over done rare steak. Lobster and sides and dessert was GREAT! Idc for the ambience, it's the food!! Also saying this after I've just recently had Chao, Mastros and Flemmings...

Wow the Taste of Two Legends is a must do event! We have JLohr and Austin Hope tonight and it's an 8 glass of wine night. The food has been epic! Morton's does such an amazing job with their wine dinners. I highly recommend you come to the Taste of Two Legends event in November you will not regret it! Happy Yelping!

***ATTENTION ALL CRIMINALS*** If you are in the market to rob or steal from this restaurant then here's why you should. My Family and I went there for dinner on 03/08/2024 and while we were taking a photo that the restaurant took for us my Wife's purse was stolen right in front of us. We realized her purse was stolen very quickly and went after the scum bags that took it but we're not able to find them. The manager told us the cameras in the restaurant only point to the side exits and the cameras over the bar only point down toward the register so if you are going to rob someone here then you won't need to worry about your face getting caught on camera. The other plus for criminals is the police took just under 2 hours to arrive so by the time the thieves traveled to the mall across the street then to another mall in Cerritos to use my wife's credit cards the police were just arriving after the criminals were light years away. To top it all off our food was terrible and the service was not up to par but the only reason why I gave this restaurant 2 stars was because my old fashions were excellent and the only reason I was able to keep my cool.

Filet mignon 9.67/10- this was so tender and juicy. I asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Completely melts in your mouth. I think they cook this with garlic better which adds so much flavor too. Lobster tail 10/10- this was so good and the perfect accompaniment to the filet. The lobster was so fresh and tasted great with the butter. Lobster bisque 9.76/10- so yummy, I loved how creamy and velvety smooth this soup was and how they put smaller pieces of lobster in it. The lobster itself was incredibly buttery. Potatoes au gratin 9.53/10- this was so delicious, au gratin potatoes with bacon, chives, and Gouda cheese. This side absolutely melts in your mouth and is so complex in flavor. I loved how cheesy it was and how the bacon added a bit of spice to the dish. French fries 10/10- these French fries were so good, they were seasoned to perfection and I loved how they were thin cut. Creamed spinach 9.62/10- this was so buttery in flavor and very heavy. I believe they added garlic butter to this as there was an evident flavor of garlic. Amazing side to accompany the main dishes. Raspberry soufflé 6.83/10- the raspberry soufflé was incredibly soft and buttery on the inside and melts in your mouth. I wish they gave syrup to accompany the soufflé however. Also tasted a bit too sugary for me Signature Hot Chocolate Lava Cake 10/10- this was absolutely divine, I loved how the cake came out piping hot and the melted chocolate on the inside of the cake just seeped out immediately. The Icecream was so good with this too. The cake was incredibly rich in flavor and decadent Chocolate mousse 7.36/10- the mousse was so good and I liked how it was the perfect amount of rich in flavor. They put a lot of cream on top though so it was hard to get the perfect bite as it felt like most of it was whipped cream Definitely a perfect end to @ocrestaurantweek , which just might be one of the best weeks in the year had such a great time trying different restaurants
