Dumplings with Spicy sauce very tasty. Good def come back even though they didn’t get my order correct after repeatedly showing them on the menu. We need to work on friendly customer service.

It's inside or right next to Little Pan Fried which was a little confusing because I guess I wasn't familiar with what was there before and seems like there's always a new Asian place in this small complex. BUT tried it and it was great! Love the duck egg crepe flavor, texture, and that they give you a glove to wear with it since it is a bit messy. It does come with a hefty price tag but for breakfast we've just shared it between two people and it was good for us. Parking can get tough and they do take phone orders.

You can't believe this! You can get the most authentic Northern Chinese Food in Irvine! Really? This place blows my mind! My favorites are: Jian Bing, Beef noodles, Tofu Brains. I felt like I was in Beijing! There is a similar place in Rowland Heights, but the taste is much better here!

It tastes too bad, and it’s so expensive. The ingredients are so little that it looks like a scam???

Stumbled across this gem in a largely takeaway mall cluster of restaurants near our hotel. The cluster of restaurants were rather nondescript. Upon entry, although Pancake King decor was somewhat plain, it was was spotlessly clean and very organized. The staff was welcoming and the menu was surprisingly diverse with noodle and rice dishes, homemade dumpling and asian burgers and also asian style crepes!I ordered the Original Pancake Crepe which was generously sized and just the perfect delicately chewy thickness, filled with a super thin fried egg, scallions, coriander and a crepe-sized perfectly fried wonton wrapper with a mildly sweet tangy sauce and just the appropriate amount of chili oil. All of it crafted and folded to perfection with the crepe drizzled with black sesame seeds. Wow. Served with a smile, a bunch of napkins, and 2 disposable gloves to handle the masterpiece and enjoy! No pics because it was past lunch time and I was in too much of a hurry to pause for one but the website pics represent.

Uh, no, I went to eat pancakes and cold noodles today. First of all, pancakes and fruit dishes can be sold for 9 dollars without a few items? Secondly, there is no ham sausage in the grilled cold noodles. . . But that kind of ham. I'm really a little convinced, I might as well buy a cold noodle kit and make it at home. In the end, I ordered a porridge and a set meal. The set meal was supposed to deliver drinks when I got home and found that there were no drinks. . . Really, I thought it was because the last time I went to eat it was very delicious, so I came back again. Will not go again next time.

Came here after being unsatisfied with my meal from bun place next door. I LOVE jian bing. Got a peking duck jian bing. I watched the lady make it in front and was surprised to see how much duck she put inside. I took it togo and ate it like a gremlin im my car. Was the most delicious thing i have eaten in a while.

I really like this place! Growing up in China, I loved eating Chinese breakfast crepes in the morning with some soy milk. The food here reminds me of my childhood. We ordered the breakfast combo A (bean curd and tea egg), combo B (fried dough, soy bean milk, and tea egg), and a special duck pancake crepe. I personally prefer bean curd more seasoned with spices, but my husband likes this mild one here. The fried dough is hot and crunchy. The duck crepe was very savory and saucy, I like the crunch hidden inside, very authentic yet uniquely creative. Inside seating is vere casual. Not super comfy but good enough for breakfast. Not somewhere I would spend hours eating while working. I really like that they gave us one time use gloves with our food, so our hands stay clean! What a wonderful idea, because I always have sticky hands after handling You Tiao (fried dough). I cannot wait to come again!

Pancake King is located in a plaza with ample parking, and seating both inside and outside! This was a mom and pop restaurant with homey Chinese foods, and friendly and fast service. We got the duck crepe which was folded over in half and was surprisingly very filling. Inside had eggs, meat, some veggies, and sauce, while the outside was crispy and a little crunchy. Also they provided GLOVES to eat this which I thought was so thoughtful of them to do so!! They have an extensive menu and next time I look forward to trying their different noodle dishes and fried dough! I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a casual bite to eat.

What a find for Chinese jian bing, which has not yet caught on in the states yet. We ordered the roast duck crepe roll, a regular crepe roll with ham and fried crullers, along with some actual fried crullers + soymilk. Everything was quite good, especially the crepe roll. The star of the roll is a crispy shell on the inside that adds a really nice textural contrast to any proteins or vegetable you have going on inside. I'd highly recommend the fried crullers as a filling as well.Docking 1 star because we also ordered 2 tofu puddings through the meal order service Fantuan, but received a call from a restaurant that they weren't available that day. When I asked for the restaurant to simply take it off the list, they said I'd have to call Fantuan to ask for a refund. They offered to replace the tofu pudding with jook, which I really could make myself. I know this is a problem with Fantuan, but I do believe a restaurant should also just take things off their menu if they're not available rather than baiting its customers.
