DO NOT EVER SHOP HERE!!! After fixing my flat tire in front of this place I was hungry. I walked in to purchase a fresh pastry and a worker noticed that I had something in my hand that might be a small piece of trash. He told me to go to the dumpster at the end of the block. I responded, "ok but I'd like to buy some food." He replied, "we don't have food, the trash is down the street". I replied, "the sign says Panaderia and it looks like you're selling food here." He continued being rude until I asked again, "isn't this a food establishment???" Even though I spoke perfect Spanish, I am over 6' tall and white so I guess I am not welcome here. DO NOT EVER SHOP HERE!!!

Their concha's are the best, they're always fluffy and the sugar on top is so flavorful, not dry like the ones at the supermarket. I like the yellow ones with the thicker sugar coating the most. Their other pan dulce is just as delicious. Stepping into this Panaderia really takes me back as I walked into a Panaderia in Mexico as a kid. The workers are always nice. They also have various selections of desserts and even tortas de jamón, el Chavo would probably go crazy for these! I almost bought a Rosca de Reyes from Superior but was discouraged after seeing it had maraschino cherries as a topping instead of the traditional figs. This was the first time I purchased a Rosca from this place and was left impressed by the quality of the pastry. The fig is actually a jam inside the rosca keeping the baby Jesus some company lol. Just like the rest of their bread, this Rosca was fluffy, and full of flavor. By far this is my favorite Panaderia in all of OC. It may not be a well branded name like 85° or Porto's but you can truly taste the love and dedication that is put into the food they make. Note: This place take CASH ONLY.

Their bolillos are the best in the OC. This is the only place that makes them like they do in Mexico (or at least from where my abuelito lived). Their pan dulce is also top tier. This place is CASH ONLY but I would advise walking in with at least 10 bucks to make sure you get to try most of their options.

There is a huge "ick" factor with this bakery. The parking lot is very sketchy and weird. The front door has a screen that is hanging on to the door frame by threads, if it is there to keep out flies it is a joke. The allover hygiene and ambiance is awful. The cashier is dour, unwelcoming.

The French bread in the morning the best like torta style bigoted or bolillo. Go around 8am still hot.
