I am skeptical about Mexican restaurants because most places have the same menus or very similar menus, and the food is not that good or not good at all.Very often, customer service is very bad. Unhappy servers, perhaps working in the wrong place.Well, this restaurant was very good. The food was on point and delicious. I am a bit disappointed because the portion was kind of small.Very small slice of cesina and a very small slice of tasajo, perhaps a couple of ounces each.My plate came with rice and beans. I asked for no beans and all rice. Even when I ordered only rice, I barely got two small portions of rice. Not even a cup of rice. Rice is not expensive, so I don't know why they serve such a micro portion.I asked for a glass of water from the very beginning. The waitress brought some chips, but no water. I didn't get water until dinner was served.Cafe de la olla was very, very good. Great live music. I really felt like I was in Oaxacan restaurant in Mexico.Overall, I like the restaurant, except for the small portion and the lack of customer service.Food, coffee, and good live music were the major highlights.I recommend this restaurant to people who want to enjoy a real taste of Oaxacan food.

One of my favorite restaurants in all OC ???!! You have to try the Tentación Oaxaca, serves 2 people and has chorizo, sesina, quesadillas ??. My daughter has gotten their kids meal and it’s caldo de pollo. Also their agua maracuya is ?parking is little tight but if you go early you’ll be fine. Not a fan of the live music, it is a small restaurant so it gets really loud.

Bad service, they are not attentive if you want more and the food plates are very small, stop at children's plates

One of the best authentic southern Mexican food in OC. I’m a big fan of breakfast and they prepare one of best the chilaquiles in OC. Also, the menu has a lot option from Oaxaca. Tlayudas are amazing and they taste pretty similar to Oaxaca tlayuda. Do not forget to try Tres Leches Cake and Cafe de olla.

The food was very delicious, although the prices are a little high. There is live music, I didn't like that because it is a small place and it is very loud...

It was my first time coming here. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. A guy came in shortly after we got there and he started singing. He took some requests from us. He sang really well and it set the mood. Unfortunately, I live really far away otherwise I'd be coming here more often.
