Rosa's is an authentic artisan bakery. The bread, cookies and traditional baked goods are an art that's not being passed down. Rosa's is a true gem in the city I found just by chance and am so thankful I did. Everything is fresh and they also sell oatmeal and cofee. I can buy a gallon of milk or gelatin or a whole flan on my way to work or home. Not sure why people complain about the prices when they are competitive, prices are up everywhere. Stopped by this bakery this morning on our way to visit my my In-Laws. Great selection, conchas were freshly made. They were warm and soft. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the cashier, not sure if she was just having a bad morning or if that is her usual attitude but it was not welcoming at all. Fresh, delicious bread. The place is always busy and restocking; therefore, you don't have to worry about getting stale bread. Not 5 stars only because the staff is not usually friendly, but they are not rude. I go for the bread. I appreciate that they always have what other panaderías run out of (conchas and bolillo).
