Superb food and awesome service. We ordered Kashmiri dum aloo, Bhindi masala, malai kofta, Sahi paneer saag matar, assorted bread etc- everything came out so tasty. All of us enjoyed the food, drinks and amazing service. Mr. Puri Ali and their team always make it special.

Saturday buffet is average : chicken tikka was salty today ; the chat papri kept in corner and difficult to put. Some people were using hands thereby making it unhygenic. Service I experienced is average but in the past it was really good, may be they don't focus during buffet Ambiance is good This place is worth the try for dinner but I wouldn't recommend it for buffet lunches

I am sad that Indian cuisine has lost some importance in the American food scene! It is such a great international cuisine, and should be given more attention as a great dining choice. I suggest you true foodies give this Indian cuisine a try... and don't forget to add mango chutney with every bite!

This place has always been my go to best Indian restaurant. When I worked in Irvine, we would dine there on a regular basis with clients & friends. Unfortunately, I don't come up this way much after my move. It's a place I missed so dearly. We dined there last night & Urmil greeted us with such love. Ali, as usual, provided the finest service. We had our usual that's not on the menu-Methi white fish with aloo gobi & wonderful kulfi with Gulab Jamun. Still my favorite place for true authentic Indian food Food is still exceptional, along with the service of attention to detail.

This is my favorite restaurant for Indian food with dishes from all over India. I loved the Chicken Chettinad and the sag paneer . Excellent service and good value for money. The quality and quantity was ideal and heat level was perfect too! This is my go to place to take friends when they fly into Orange County.

This review is based on their food. Not much else taken into consideration. This is because the food was so good that literally nothing else mattered. I don't review most things, but I was so impressed with the gustatory experience we had last night that I had to write one. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and comprised of a perfect use of spices. I was in heaven with every bite. I believe after last night that Indian food is in fact the best food on the planet and the Royal Khyber has one of the best examples of it anywhere. I WILL be back. If possible, weekly.

Para toda la gente latina que quiera comer aquí se los recomiendo mucho, el señor más grande es muy bueno, ayer tuvimos el placer de cenar ahí mi mamá y yo y mi mamá me ha pedido dejar este comentario, recibimos excelente servicio de una mesera latina, de hecho nos dio recomendaciones de postres nos ofreció salsa picante muy rica he hizo nuestra experiencia mejor que otras veces. Vayan a conocer el restaurante ella habla español y les puede guiar y explicar todo ya que la comida es muy rica. Definitivamente vamos a regresar muy pronto.

The Spicy Kebab was a new dish we had never tried before and it was delicious. The main course items were also very tasty. The Jodhpuri laccha parantha was incredible. Service was good and professional. Will continue to return.
Don't go to this restaurant if you want a relaxed evening. I am a regular for lunch at this place and went there for dinner yesterday with two other couples. We were done eating and went just chatting when the waiter came over and told us to clear the table rather rudely. I asked him if he is kicking us out and his answer was "yes." I can't remember being insulted in a restaurant ever after spending multiple three figures for a meal. There were other empty tables and no waiting customers. I have visited this place dozens of times and yesterday was my last visit to this restaurant.

We went here for the weekday lunch buffet and everything was so delicious. Started off with a fresh salad with tamarind dressing and enjoyed some spinach fritters. The chicken tandoori was so flavorful, perfectly cooked. The chicken tikka masala was also so good. There were also a few other dishes like fish, paneer, etc. lots of variety. Wonderful and we will be back again for sure.
