I’ve been here many times before and everything was good until today I went and clearly told them when I ordered that I wanted light cheese.So I got my food and went back because my quesadilla was dripping of grease with so much cheese.A worker named Alex came up to me all rude and said what’s wrong.i told him and he took the food and said “So you want just steak”.I told him no just less cheese and he looks at me like I’m crazy. And walks away not saying anything.I rather go to another Place at this point. Every other Rubio’s I’ve gone too knows exactly what I mean.The kid in front that helped me was very sweet but that man names Alex was not professional at all.He looks like he was having a bad day but that’s not my fault.

I ordered a shrimp burrito I feel totally scammed. I talked to the manager and they only put 8 tiny shrimp. It was really just and bean and rice burrito. Definitely not what rubios used to be. So many other restaurants near by I won’t be back. Manager also did and said nothing for the unpleasant experience. On top of that the chips taste like they’ve never changed the oil. Has a bitter stale taste disgusting.

Lunch was super busy and had to wait for ASAP order, a lot more than usual. I customized my burrito and it still had onions and tomato which give me really bad heartburn. Also, the burrito barely had any langostino it was mostly beans. I really like their food and o have never had to wait before and they always get it right not sure what happened this time.

Beware ordering via app... To be fair, I'll break down my review like this... Food - 4 out 5. Tasty food. Location - 4 out of 5...the location can get busy but there's plenty of parking, so all good there. Cleanliness - 4 out of 5. It's well kept and not super dirty. Service - so this is my only issue. I ordered their taco trio without chipotle sauce because mom doesn't like spicy food...when I get home, there's chipotle sauce! Not paying attention at all!! I could eat it because I'm ok with it. In fact, I think it's delicious, but for older people who are more sensitive to spicey food, no can do. The receipt even said no sauce but they still added it. The server's are nice, but please pay attention.

We are from Texas and so not have Rubio's there. So when we visit California we always go to Rubio's. Nice staff, clean place and we love there fish tacos!
