The establishment has the right name- TASTY! I had the Won Ton soup, spicy noodles, shrimp fried rice, fish in black bean sauce and bok choy. All were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only drawback was Grub Hub did not contact me when the delivery was made. Consequently, by the time I discovered the order was here, it was sitting outside my gate with no indication of how long it had been there. The food was cold. I will visit this establishment for sure.

Some really tasty sichuan! The spicy wontons and the fish filet in spicy oil are my favorites. Definitely recommend.

Trust me, take the highway to the Tasty Zone!! For those of you who are familiar with Szechwan food and it’s unique flavors, you’ll be so happy that you finally found THE place. The quality, portions, prices, spiciness/numbing—it’s all just so wonderful.

By far the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever been. The food was terrible. No skills, no flavor, just artifical saurces full of MSG.

Came here by accident and was happily surprised! We had the spicy cucumber salad and if you don't like spice or are not familiar with Szechuan food beware-- it's spicy! But so good! The spicy & sour wontons were perfect. And the Dan Dan noodles are a must try!

Yes to vegetarian/vegan options! Started with the spicy jelly noodle. Really tasty and definitely spicy! Then the deep fried tofu with spicy sauce. The sauce was delicious and the tofu soaked it up nicely. Not super spicy. Finally the stir fried mixed vegetables. This is definitely the most mild, not spicy at all and maybe even a little on the bland side flavor-wise but still a nice reprieve from the more flavorful dishes. Wish some of the veggies were cut smaller though.

If you are looking for classic dishes like bock choy , garlic green beans or A-choy this is the place to go. Plus their boiled beef is the best with anise and red chili, it will fix your cold anytime. The beef is very good quality and very tender too. Their wontons are more delicious than some of the newer places. The cooking quality has been consistent over the years which I am impressed!

The Szechuan food here is always excellent. I would say it's one of the best near Irvine. My goto's here are alway: - Spicy Pepper Chicken 辣子鸡 - Spicy Mixed Pot 时代冒菜 - Dan Dan Noodles 担担面 - Scallion Pancake 葱油饼 - Brown Sugar Mochi Rice 红糖糍粑

Nice, but the location makes it a bit hard to locate.

I can honestly say this is my favorite Sichuan restaurant. In my opinion, it's the best in the area. Everything we have ordered here has been really good and tasty. The quality of food is great and the prices are reasonable. Excellent customer service as well. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem with accidental vegan options! We've been coming to Tasty Zone for probably 4 or 5 years and love this place for their no-mod vegan options. Every time we get their spicy eggplant and garlic bok choy - those are our staples. It wouldn't be a tasty zone trip without those two. Then we either get the cold spicy noodle with tofu (spicy), the dry tofu (also spicy), or the mapo tofu (also spicy). We eat family style here and usually have enough leftovers for the next day. I have to give major credit to our server last time who when we said we were vegan went above and beyond to check with the kitchen (even though we've been there a dozen times it never hurts to ask). He asked if we wanted our spicy eggplant prepared in a wok instead of deep frying it because of cross contamination. I have to say, no one ever is that thorough so we really appreciated that the chef had suggested that. Also, he informed us that unfortunately the scallion pancakes are NOT vegan. That was a staple until this trip when we discovered that they do use a little butter. Oops! We had asked before and they said they were. Hence, why it's always to ask again ;)
