PP is an assemble your own pizza, just like Mod or Blaze . We got three different pizzas for the three of us, but all commented on the slightly sweet taste. They make them fast which is good, but the dough was more hot than cooked. I was not a fan of the doughy texture, preferring the more bread like feel you expect normally.

If you are hosting a party, Pizza Press should be at the top of your list!At the suggestion of a friend, I called Mimi on a Wednesday desperate for a place to host my husband's surprise 40th birthday party. Everything was planned for an outdoor picnic in a park but the weather was not going to cooperate. I was frantic but Mimi calmed me down and told me she'd absolutely love to host the party at her restaurant. On Friday morning, I met with Mimi and went over our order. She perfectly estimated our food needs for guests. In addition, I was able to order 3 specialty pizzas for guests with specific dietary needs. She had options available to accommodate everyone.I was supposed to set up before the party but due to the change of plans, it wasn't possible. Mimi told me not to worry and that she and her team would set up for me. I brought the decorations with me on Friday morning and told her what I had in mind. She and her team set up the night before the party and executed it above and beyond my expectations. When my husband walked in, Mimi had borrowed one of my friend's phones and was filming the surprise for us. Soon after the greeting, the food came flowing out. She had appetizers of tasty tots and wings ready to go for our hungry guests. Then the pizzas started to arrive. She had a steady stream of hot and fresh pizzas from the ovens every 5-10 minutes. Guests who arrived later were welcomed with nice hot pizza. Everyone absolutely raved about the awesome food and great selection of beer on tap.The crust of the pizza is insanely simple yet tasty. And you can tell the ingredients are fresh and come from great suppliers. The customization is awesome but the pre-set pizzas are fantastic as well.We had so much fun at the Pizza Press and were seriously impressed by the hospitality and professionalism of Mimi and her team. We will absolutely be back for more pizza and celebrations in the future!Vegetarian options: Lots of different veggie toppings. They also have vegan cheese!Dietary restrictions: There are so many options for dietary restrictions. They even have vegan cheese for a dairy free alternative. They have cauliflower crust for gluten free. They’ll customize a pizza for all of your dietary needs.

This location is very stingy with their ingredients. I ordered through doordash and paid for them to add extra toppings but received table scraps.

So we went to this place for the first time to order pizza and buffalo wings to go. Once we got home we opened up the Buffalo wings and there was absolutely no sauce on them. If you tasted the wings there was absolutely no hint of buffalo flavor. I called them back to discuss the issue with them and they assured me they added buffalo sauce and the confusion might be from the fact that they are using new wings that are whiter than before. I don't know what the color of the wings would have to do with there being no buffalo sauce. They told me the only thing they can do is have me drive all the way back over there and return the wings so they could then remake them. I expect buffalo wings to be spicy and liberally covered in sauce which is the main reason why i order them.. The pizza was decent tho. The whole situation was just super disappointing after an already long and bad day.

This is the best Pizza Press I have ever gone to. Their food is top tier, ingredients/pizzas always taste amazing and the employees are pretty great too !! Unlike the other Pizza Press locations, the Santa Ana one has such an amazing taste. They definitely have a fresh and home style flavor that doesn’t feel so…. Chain restaurant -esq if that makes any sense :) I did ask the guy that made my pizza and he said that their pizza dough is made in house! I usually visit in the early afternoons and the opener always makes me feel welcome and is very attentive. Super hardworking dude, as well as all the other staff. Santa Ana Pizza Press is definitely the go-to spot for any santanero <3 best pizza in Santa Ana!

What a cool concept of pizza making. It was all new to me. My boyfriend had talked about it a couple of times, but I never followed until we went together the other night. The first step caught me by surprise. They grab the dough, press it then move on to prep with toppings!I felt like a kid at the wonka factory lolI seen how the gentlemen, added toppings without hesitation.Within 15 mins, the pizza was prepped and bake ready to eat!We order 2 pizza with a cold beer so our total was about $50.I highly recommend trying The Chronicle- it has flavors like Extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella, imported artichoke hearts, grape tomato, red onion, crimini mushroom, and roasted red bell peppers, finished with fresh basil It was be so awesome to have a live band on Fridays nights. Or Maybe they already do but what the heck why not comment about it!
