I did not have their food because I went to see a live band and dance. But the atmosphere and the service was excellent.

The service was good. The food tasted dry and stale. We wanted to order ice tea and horchata but none was available, even though the restaurant had been open for four hours. No one was in the restaurant and we were the only ones there for the most of our meal until the last ten minutes until a party of three came in. The restaurant should have been busy because it was St. Patrick's Day and Sunday brunch.

This was my first time here and unfortunately it didn't start out well. I was looking forward to chips and salsa instead they brought pinwheels and hot sauce I was so disappointed. I started with the corn dish and while it was good I tasted a little too much “char” for my liking. The beef taquitos were very tasty. I ordered the enchiladas suizas which was supposed to come with refried beans but they gave me black beans which I don't like. When I cut open one of the chicken enchiladas I found a whole leaf, I'm assuming it was a bay leaf to add flavor but it should have been removed, so that ruined the enchiladas for me. Service started out good but then I never saw my server again until I asked for the bill. This was not a place that I will come back to.

This place is horrible. We came here for a party. Let me tell you, they had 1 server taking care of approximately 100 people. I felt bad for the server as she had no help from management. They took forever to get our drinks. Now I know why this place is so dead. I wouldn't recommend this place.

So... the place was empty on a Friday night for dinner.Service was very slow (really bad slow and they didn't get it right) and the food was ok. I do not recommend. Place needs a deep clean and some paint. These 5 star reviews are sus.

Met a friend for lunch here. Pink Cadillac margaritas, flautas, Guacamole, and chips for appetizers, enchiladas and a carnitas burrito for the main course. The restaurant was almost empty so we had it virtually to ourselves. Service was good and the pace was fine. Without many other patrons the restaurant was nearly silent, making for an ideal quiet conversation. I'll be coming back again.

Ambiance is desolate and dreary. I've seen 2 waitresses in an hour time span. Service is terrible as it took 30 minutes to bring our order of small tacos. Staff barely speak and understand English. That's another thing. The food is beyond overpriced for what you get and not all that great. I've had way better taco Tuesdays, and I'll definitely go to those places. Do not come here. I have no idea how they stay in business. There was my table and one other. That was it.

It was empty when we got there on a Saturday evening...a bad sign. We got seated; Food and drinks were mid and the waiters were nice but took a while to make their rounds even though not many other people were there. Not the worst restaurant, but not very enjoyable. Hope they can turn it around somehow :)

Saw this restaurant at Main Place (AKA Westfield Mall) in Danta Ana. Not sure about it so we came in. It's 1 pm and we are the only ones in here. It looked like it was closed when we got here cus there was no one at the reception station. All tables were empty when we got here. 20 minutes later there was 2 more table that came in. The waitress is friendly and on top of things, just worried cus she didn't write our order down and that usually opens up for mistakes. Best thing so far is that instead of chips and salsa they brought us churritos dorados with some Balentina to dip them in. Yum :). Guest service from 1-10 is a 4.0.... Only 1 waitress, she had to serve all 3 tables with orders and drinks. A cook had to bring out our food. Cleanliness from 1-10 is a 3.... Usually restaurant when they are slow it's extra cleaned. A 5 would be a clean restaurant and a 10 would be spotless. This restaurant was dusty on the corners, the restrooms were clean but one of the urinals was out of order and it might have been for a while cus it was taped up and closed with visible signs of being like that for a couple of days. When I was walking to my table I saw a cake plate with a fork on a ledge and dusty edges. Orders: my wife is very picky but she likes her fajitas de al pastor. Usually does not like restaurant white rice cus they put canned veggie, on this occasion it looks they put fresh veggies. Guac was good and fresh. Her Horchatas was not the best and her rice wand bean were like warm. She ordered corn tortillas and got flower. My food was good. I had 2 item plate. I had a shrimp taco that I asked on a soft tortilla and it was crunchy. It was still good but it was nothing special. I had the angus steak enchilada, the red sauce was good and tasted home made but they out mozzarella or some white cheese inside that nade it more American than authentic Mexican food. The beans tasted home made and the rice was also home made and toasted great but again they were lukewarm. I asked for a Modelo but it didn't taste like a modelo, tasted more like a XX amber. This could be a great spot if there was more focus on their cleanliness and attention to guest. They didn't check up on us till we were done with our food but it's understandable since there was only one server. All things said we will come back and give them a second chance. This was just 1 experience and we did come in a slow time at 1 on a Monday. All and all the food had a good flavor and the ambiance with music and decore was great.

Below average. Cold food service was way below average.

Three Roots has the most authentic tasting Mexican food around here. From enchiladas to tacos to barbacoa to fish to everything else, their chef is top notch. We love their Albondigas soup and mole too. Service is great. When they first opened it was a little slow but now they're up to speed. The bar drinks are tasty and inventive and they'll mix up whatever you want. Ambiance is nice and spacious. Very good for families and business parties. Great brunch on Sundays too. It's far from our house but we try to drive up every chance we get.
