I've tried this place a few times & went this past weekend since the other torta ahogada truck we like was super crowded. It had been a couple years since we last came here. The first thing I noticed was the difference in price. It was $55 for 3 tortas ahogadas, 2 tacos ahogados & 3 drinks.. which isn't terrible (and it seems as if the price of everything has gone up recently, so it's to be expected.. So we moved from Southern California to Chicago, and of course, aside from missing our family, the great Mexican food is also being missed. One place that we really loved was the tortas ahogadas from Los Primos in Santa Ana. Yes, on my trip last year back home to visit family, I off course got me 10 tortas, and the owner graciously packed them for me to take back home on the flight, and they were awesome.
