The Hu Tieu is good, no doubt about that, but the cleanliness is absolutely not there. All of the waiters and waitresses uses the same old dirty latex glove all day long and their dirty thumb touches the food when they hold your food bowl. The reason their dirty thumb touches your food is because of how they grab the bowl by the edge of the bowl. The same old gloves that is used to spray table cleaners and wipe the tables. Who knows, it might be the same old gloves that are used to clean the toilet in the bathroom.

The food is great. Super fast service - faster than American fast food restaurants Price is right. A bit noisy but that's not a problem for us.

Fooking yummy af. Service is very fast and the food comes out super fast. I got the chao chow with duck with added wontons with soup on the outside. It came with a giant beef bone in the soup. Yumbo!! Very reasonable pricing

As someone who's Teochew, Trieu Chau is, I believe, the only Teochew (Chao Chow) establishment in Orange County. I've been to a few out in SGV, but I don't think there aren't any other ones in OC. Food tastes like eating a home cooked meal. The service is quick. They accept both credit and cash. And the people that work here are great. Just like most regular Asian food establishments, don't expect to be treated like you're someone important. Just come here, enjoy the good food, and go on about your day. This is one of my favorite Chinese/Vietnamese food places.

First time trying this place and I must say it was a really nice little viet/Chinese/ Cambodian noodle spot . The food - was really good I got the seafood combo rice noodle soup and my husband got the beef combo rice noodle soup . Both were good the noodles was cooked well not to soggy just right. The beef was pretty tender off the bone and I like how they gave so many different types of beef same with the seafood dish. I would come back to try what else they have on their menu. Service- the service was quick and fast. They seat you right away once a guest leaves. Quick with ordering and quick to bring the food. Ambiance - the ambiance is cool and nice mom and pop shop where it feels like if you were to go more the people will eventually they're going to learn your face and name. I will be back soon to try more of their menu

Hearty noodle bowls and generous portions - what else could you ask for?? My husband got the side order of the beef bones and the portion was huge! He pretty much ate that for his breakfast and was stuffed. I ordered the chow chow noodles (comes with their Chinese style chicken, some fish balls, ground pork, and shrimp) with egg noodles - dry style and broth on the side. Food comes out quickly and steaming hot. Flavors were bold and the chicken was super tender. There's both Indoor and outdoor seating. We came on a Tuesday morning around 10am and was seating in a few minutes. It was pretty full for a weekday! But seating and tables were clean, fully staffed team, and bright lighting inside so it felt very upkept.

I don't why this place is a 4 star review restaurant. The Trieu Chau noodle was so bland! Like no flavor at all! The worst noodle I ever had. Waited 40 mins for something so bland! Please skip this place!

The restaurant has some upgrades and changes and it seems so has there soup. The prices are higher now but the portions has gotten lesser. The Asian donuts was cold though we were there early. The soup through the years has somehow lost its famous taste. In the past there was always long lines but the Pass couple times I have gone to eat here there was no lines, it could be a trend here they might have lost there magic.

Atmosphere: 3

Food: 3

Service: 4

Okay folks, please tell me what time they sell out of the doughnuts because we went at 11 and they were sold out :( Service: quick, typical Asian restaurant Food: some dishes come out quicker than others, so be mindful Portions: inconsistent.. my egg noodle dish was done in 5 slurps but the chow fun can feed an army Ambiance: loud, and not customer loud, just the hustle and bustle of the workers Parking: 0/5, the worst. I just parked on the street but read the signs! I attached a photo for reference. The complex hosts around 6-7 businesses and the surface lot has under 20 parking spaces lol. I will be back to try other dishes, maybe steer clear of the soup dishes.

Trieu Chau holds a special spot for me as my go-to for Vietnamese noodles, a place steeped in personal nostalgia from the days my dad would bring me here. Fair warning, though: waits can be long, and it's pretty cramped inside. Not the best spot for those who prioritize cleanliness. But, if you're looking to capture a slice of Vietnam without leaving town, this is it.

Its me and my fiancee go to noodle place on the weekend. Just be aware of the service and be patient with the servers. Recommend always get with egg noodles. You can dip the broth with the chinese donuts that they have. Also they sell the chinese donuts till 10 am.

After eating here ... I will never be the same !! My world has changed !! My friend and I were craving Viet food and we came across this mom and pop shop. Make sure to join the waitlist prior before arriving. The parking was very limited. We came during the bustling Sunday lunch rush, and it was packed! However, the service was immaculate. The server we had was extremely fast at taking our order AND he was super sweet. There was a little bit of a language barrier though. After getting our order taken, within 5 minutes our food has arrived! Again, talk about great service! My friend and I both ordered the #19 Chao Chow dry version. She got the egg noodles and I got the big rice noodles. The noodle order also came with a soup on the side. The first bite, OH MY I was immediately impressed! My craving was satisfied! Both the noodles and the soup were packed with flavor! The noodles were super bouncy and the soup was piping hot! Also, the portions were just right. Not too much and not too little. I will be coming back !!

I've known this place for 30 years, recently came back today. Join the waiting list. Estimated time was around 15 minutes. Wait for over an hour, so I came to ask the owner who was sitting at the cashier. He told me to go talk to the Mexican guy... WTF... he was very rude. NEVER Coming back...
