We sat outside in the patio, and we all really enjoyed our lunch. The server was amazing, very nice, and attentive. We all had different items, and everything was tasty. Definitely visit. Small place parking on the street. But it is worth a visit if you are looking for breakfast or lunch.

Great place to grab large portion for lunch if you are in the Milpas area. We would have liked the chicken more crispy, maybe it was not roasted enough? The portions are big! I love the inside atmosphere and deco. The donuts are the best in Santa Barbara.

Bossie’s kitchen is my favorite local restaurant! It’s very cozy and unassuming, but the food and service are great every time. I love all the warm touches like the plants and string lights. My favorite dish is the tamarind fried chicken sandwich, and the baked goods are always a lovely treat. I recommend Bossie’s for a cozy, low-key lunch or dinner with your partner of a couple of friends

Breakfast stops at 11. Showed up at 10:55 and they wouldn't serve breakfast to me. Pretty lame

Love the food but just had a really bad service experience. The server ignored me for 15 minutes after I was seated. Didn’t bring a menu or ask if I wanted anything. Chatted with his friends a next table a lot. I finally left without

Awesome customer service, ambiance and delicious food. The Korean BBQ chicken sandwich was amazing. Very dog friendly patio. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of.

OMG, where to start. The food is amazing and imaginative. The service is caring. I've been here for two dinners and one lunch. The Thai curry is lovely and gentle. The Albacore dinner with bok choy was mind blowing. The location is away from the main fray. however if the SB Bowl has a concert, then parking can be a challenge.

Embarrassingly, this was my first visit to Bossie's, since we haven't really explored the Milpas corridor much. Once we found out they had a dog friendly patio, it flew to the top of our lunch list. Everything was fantastic. We went on a Friday around 1p and there was plenty of seating. It's a high traffic area, so expect some road noise. Area street parking was pretty full, but we found a spot about a block away. Will definitely add Bossie's to our rotation.

What's the best way to alienate a regular customer? Serve an overdressed, caesar salad and then when that customer complains, dismiss their concerns by telling them "That's just the way we do it. If you don't like it, order it less dressed." Any hint of the "customer is King" philosophy is clearly absent at Bossies. Don't get me wrong. The food is great (for the most part) and the attention to local, farmer's market sourced produce is a clear plus, but perhaps the manager missed the memo about treating customers well and compensating them when their is an issue with their food. Isn't this food management 101? Now, having succeeded in pissing off a local and regular customer, Bossies gets this negative review, in addition to the one I left on YELP. If you couldn't for some reason, remove the cost of the salad from the bill, would it really have killed you to offer a free cookie or donut. I guess this is how things are done in 2023, which is a sad statement on our culture. In any case, there's a lot I like about this place, but I'll definitely think twice before visiting again.

I wish I could take them back to LA with me. It's that good. Just go to Bossie's. I had the half grilled cheese and added bacon. When it arrived my eyes lit up at the melted goodness. The bite is crunchy yet soft with the best cheese pull. There were carmelized onions that added to the perfection of this sandwich. They left it all on the plate with the tomato soup as an addition. I wanted for nothing more. The Turkey came with cheese, avocado and pesto on focaccia. Beautiful flavor and portion. The mac was seasoned well and had the right amount of cheese for how it was presented. Nothing gooey nor over hardened, just right. The service was super friendly and she came around regularly to check on us. It's nice and bright inside and they also offer a fair amount of outdoor seating. Pastries are also available. We opted for the donuts which were more decadent than I was used to; very greasy and dense BUT still delicious!

Absolute #1 in the Milpas neighborhood. Small dining room and patio, but never have an issue finding a table unless it’s on a night there is a concert at the Santa Barbara bowl down the street. Their chicken sandwiches are a Santa Barbara favorite… probably the best in the city. Check their @insta for nightly specials… Wednesday’s are pot pies and they are not to be missed. Pro tip: save room for their doughnuts (plural)… also probably the best Santa Barbara has to offer.
