Stopped in during a road trip after purchasing gasoline across the way. Gorgeous boutique-style grocery/market with a robust line of freshly prepared ready-to-eat hot/cold foods, fresh baked goods, a juice bar, and a complete line of self-named specialty items to mention some highlights. Floral and produce looked incredible in this midsized shopping mall-type location. All were immaculate during our visit. Prices for the quality staples and unique goods seemed on par with the area, level of service, and variety provided. A bit jealous of the locals as, although I love my local upscale grocery, I need to visit a few different stores to find this assortment in just one location. Our road trip was much more delicious today. Thanks!

This review is specifically for the juice bar. I have been to this juice bar several times l, and although the staff is nice enough, they need a lesson in customer service, which includes customer acknowledgment. On this day I arrived, and there were three people in line in front of me. There was a guy juicing carrots and celery, and for at least six minutes, we all stood there, and he never once looked at us, or acknowledged our presence. I walked over to him and asked him if there was anybody working at the counter and he said that he was the only one there and he had other orders to fill. I reminded him that, he could mitigate the frustration of the people waiting in line by acknowledging their presence and informing them of his situation . I don’t blame the worker, I blame the management. Most people are extremely reasonable and willing to wait as long as they realize they are not being completely ignored. They seem to have pretty high turnover at the juice bar. Also, I have been here in the afternoon and the juice bar has been closed which is kind of odd.

My recent visit this past Monday around 7:30 pm was definitely different from my usual quick trips. It was busier than usual during this time. The most employees I've seen at one time. The 2 guys in the barbecue/hot foods (?) area were talking so loud I could hear them from the entrance. They were just obnoxious. Same thing when going to check out with the baggers. The contradiction of the employees that were really great and the ones that hopefully won't be there much longer was just odd for what they charge. Where the heck is management? Is finding good employees this hard in SB? Probably, but...geez!!!

I have shopped at our Local Bristol Farms since their grand opening. It's the nicest Grocery store in Santa Barbara and that's saying slot because we have some nice stores in our area. Bakery treats are sweet and delicious. I always find apples that I've never seen and must try in the produce department. The cheese and charcuterie offerings are mouthwatering. Brisket? Yeah they have smoked brisket and I like it almost as much as their pork belly burnt ends. The meat counter is carnivore heaven, you have to see it, if you're a carnivore, if not the aforementioned produce department will have you covered. Lots of local items in here as well. It will be your favorite indulgent shopping trip when you go. Bonus local points for having aisles named after SB streets, I found my chips for my Mesa Salsa on Chapala st.

Be careful with holiday ordering -- -- I suggest maybe getting your sides here for the holidays, but get your meat + seafood elsewhere. We just did the holiday ordering for Christmas and picked up shrimp platters + sides -- the shrimp platters were miniscule and stuffed with lettuce, I think we had ~ 10 shrimp on each one (so ~$3+ a shrimp). The shrimp were at least 4x-5x the price of Costco, and of much lesser quality - they were clearly not fresh. They also leaked all over the boxes and other sides. Pretty disappointed in Bristol - pretty gross!
