The only thing I know for sure is that the Caesar Salad at Coast & Olive is like nothing you have ever tasted! So different and so delicious! The chef, Dayveon (what a nice guy), knows what he's doing. I highly recommend it. Kobi, the manager, is also terrific and understands great customer service. The restaurant is part of The Montecito Inn. The food, in my opinion, is one of "The Best of the Best" on Coast Village road in Montecito. And after seeing photos posted from other reviews, I look forward to trying some other things on the menu! :-)

one of the worst dining experiences i've had. my boyfriend and i came on a saturday and the management and ambiance was embarrassing. the new chef has no skills and the new menu is so underwhelming. they're trying way too hard. the caesar isn't even caesar dressing and there's toast on it?? everything was overpriced maybe that's why they're so slow. chicken was extremely dry and the beans were definitely canned. my boyfriends pasta was so gross. beignets were doughy. do NOT EAT HERE! waste of time and money.

So i made reservations for Vday with our friends. We all 4 had dinner last night for Vday. It was the most disgusting food ever and we were so embarrased we invited our friends for dinner. My gf and I had the meatballs with very little marinara sauce and burnt bread. The meatballs were so hard, dried and overcooked we could not eat them. I also asked for a side of pasta and they were these huge noodles i think udon noodles that were so gross!!! My husband had the burger and the only thing he ate wete the fries cause the burger sucked!! Our other friend had the gumbo which he said was tolerable! We ate here a year ago and it was great. So im assuming they have a new Chef!! We will never return to eat here and our Vday dinner was ruined

We stayed at the Montecito Inn and decided to stay close for dinner after traveling. What a wonderful surprise it was to have such a fantastic dinner. Great service, great ambiance ... Such a fantastic way to start our trip. We will definitely be back!

Pretty mediocre, especially for the price and location. Nothing special. Felt pretty bland and generic.

I just think the food quality is very mediocre. Worst Crudo we've ever had. The roast chicken was good, as was the burger... But not good enough for us to want to come back. I was also disappointed in their wine list. For Montecito, I expected more.

A great restaurant with wonderful food and big drink selection. I had the fish which was really good and fresh. A bit pricey, but hey, it's Montecito .

The overall dining experience at Coast and Olive was excellent. The atmosphere is low key but hip. I appreciate that there is spacing between tables. The menu has a good variety of foods. We had 4 guests in our party and everyone was happy with their meal. The bar's offerings are extensive and nicely presented. Definitely a fun place to stop by for drinks and an appetizer. The evening was enhanced by an attentive and well trained staff. Overall, a fun evening with good value for the price.

Such a deceiving experience with its chic decor and lively bar, the food however was woefully subpar. DRINKS only next time.

We went for a birthday brunch get together and we tried Brussels sprouts and French toast as appetizers. Then we each ordered crab cake Benedict and omelettes. Everything was delicious! It was nice sitting outside even it's a little cool- the servers were very helpful to get the heat lamps on for us. Great dining experience:)

An excellent experience. Wonderful food, great service and a lovely setting. We are from Washington D.C. and are used to dining in terrific restaurants. Coast and Olive was as good as most there if not better.

Coast and Olive wants to be something that it's not. Ownership is present by not helpful at all, the entitlement here is through the rooof and for the area, there are better places that will appreciate appreciate your business much more and you will actually get the quality that you pay for.

Hamburger and Chicken sandwich both not very good....chicken was over cooked and hamburger was tastless....no flavor even with the cheese...they didn't even melt cheese on it...just a slice on top...don't put a $22 burger on menu if you can't make it really good. we go here a couple times a year and it seems they never get it right. bummer since we live right down the street.
