I decided to try to d'Angelo's after walking past it on just a casual walk in the neighborhood. You could tell it was a legit bakery with a small seating area with visibility to the kitchen. We decided to grab breakfast here, and since breakfast prices were really expensive we just sampled a variety of pastries and had coffee. The service was quick, and they kept refilling my mug. The breads were delicious with the favorite being the ham and cheese croissant.

We visited here for brunch one day and were not overly impressed. The service was really slow, we had to wait a long time for our food which we wouldn't usually mind if the taste was worth it. The bread, which is advertised as all homemade, was so hard it was barely edible. We found the prices to be too high and the most expensive breakfast meal we had whilst in Santa Barbara. There are better places in the local area that offer a nicer setting when eating outside.

Very good pastries but I noticed their rye bread got much smaller than before, by almost half. I understand that costs are rising, but it’s still a large difference is size.

Definitely some of the best matcha lattes in town! My friends and I specifically stopped here during our walk to grab some lattes after seeing how cute their latte art was in other people's reviews. We were really disappointed to see that there was no attempt on our drinks but we enjoyed them anyways. I loved my matcha with oat milk and tried a sip of my friend's mate which was a similar earthy flavor but without any sweetness to it. The service was fantastic -- very friendly and quick! We went around 9:45am on a Saturday and there were quite a few open tables so we sat outside which was a pleasant experience. I will be back to check the menu for any gluten free items next time because the food smelled so good!

Our son is a 4th year at UCSB and we have been coming here on almost every visit. Incredible fresh baked goods and brunch offerings. Highly recommend!

It was my wife’s and I first time and my dad invited us since he had been there before. Food was delicious, highly recommend the steak and eggs. Also the spicy chicken omelette. Plates are generous size and everything was delicious. They refilled our coffee and water several times, coffee was delicious as well by the way. We sat on the patio in the alley and it was a pleasant atmosphere for Sunday morning. Will definitely be going back.
