Hotdogs are amazing and I understand the economy is terrible right now but I give 1 star for a $3.38 fountain drink before taxes. That's outrageous. I just paid $1.25 for a 12oz can of soda and thought that was crazy, but $3.38 for a fountain drink??! Come on man.Edit: I had to return my corndog, the batter wasn't cooked through. It was actually runny inside and inedible, they remade it though.EDIT: After reading several other responses from Dave's Dogs to other low star reviews I can't help but feel their response to this review is overwhelmingly condescending. I will pass on a complimentary water cup because I will also be passing on returning here. Thank you for your long and well thought out diplomatic response, very craftily worded for maximum passive aggressive deniability.

We went here for lunch while in Santa Barbara. The hot dogs were great. I ordered a BBQ bacon dog and My wife got the chili cheese dog. My wife said it's the best chili she's ever had which says a lot. Next time I will try the Max n cheese dog which looked really good. We went back last night to get dessert and met the owner, Dave. He's a really nice guy and he spent time telling us his story about how he started the business. He's definitely a go getter and the type of person you root for to be successful. The deep fried Oreos are AMAZING! Don't go here without getting them!

It's a small building, but man is it packing delicious flavor. I tried the the Korean dog. It was crunchy, cheesy with half hot dog half cheese you can't go wrong. My son ordered the Mac n cheese dog. He was in heaven he wasn't expecting the bacon. This is definitely his new favorite spot.
I go here regularly. High time I left them a nice review. They are super friendly here and the hot dogs are super tasty. I usually get the Santa Barbara dog. Delicious! Last time I was here I got the mac and cheese which was also excellent. These guys are over in the turnpike shopping center across the way from lighthouse coffee. Great hot dogs, you can't go wrong with any of their menu items.

Listen, I don't have photos of anything here because I always end up eating everything so fast. I've been a hard core hot dog hater for the better part of 10 years. That was until my human Doordashed some of Dave's Dogs for movie night. I through my diet out the window that night and still haven't gone back. Anyways, if you've made it this far, you gotta try these:-Fried PB&J (literally 20/10 wtf & they're fancy with it too)-Chili Cheese Dog (10/10 firreee)-KOREAN CORN DOG (another 20/10 soooo cheesy & crispy)-Pulled Pork Mac Dog (10000/10 EUGGHHHHHH)-Chicken Alfredo Tater Tots (10/10 sooo saucyy)-Fried Pickles!!! (12/10 so much cronch)-Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers (10/10 perfectly made)-Mac & Cheese Dog (10/10 kinda nostalgic honestly)-Classic Wings (10/10 love a meaty wing man)Looking forward to fn up the rest of their menu

Was looking for something unique and stumbled across this place. I got the Mac and cheese dog with a veggie hot dog and no bacon, with a side of cheese fries. I was not disappointed. The food was fresh hot and delicious. I will be returning as soon as possible.

It just takes a while to get your food. I want to order before arriving but they want a credit card over the phone. I am a little iffy about dishing my card via phone. Since I can't preorder and I have to wait 15 min just for takeout and for that I knock off a star. Other than that, good food.
