Eating at the bar area and watching the chefs go at was a 10/10 experience. It was cool to see all the chefs in their groove singing tunes while they busted out picture perfect dishes. I had amazing beer and a tasty grapefruit radler. The food came out perfect but be patient cause they have a lot of table and just a few chefs. I had one of the sausage specials, it was super juicy and cheesy, I love the mustards to dip. It came with the best potato salad, sauerkraut, and carrots that tasted like butter. My boyfriend got the Rueben sandwich and it was perfect. I also had a great carrot curry soup topped with tzatziki. Looking at all the stuff coming out made me want to come back and try everything. The pretzel, schnitzel, and the Weisswurst looked particularly good.

Great service and delicious food. The outside garden is wonderful in the sunshine, and inside is cozy. A little slice of Europe here in town!

4 for lunch today, 3 had sausage plates (Weiswurst, Bratwurst, and a Hungarian-type variety with paprika in the mix),and Jeagerschinitzel. All vunderbar, especially the Jeagerschnitizel. Service was great, beer selections are teriffic, parking is easy. One qualifier; the Jeagerschinitzel is not always on the menu, depending on specific mushroom availability, but if you get the chance, try it!

The food is basic German sausages, German potato salad very simple food and usually very good, service has been great but the atmosphere is something of a throwback and really brings together the entire experience to make it a one of a kind and I try to go at least once a month if not twice.Don't forget to grab a couple beers from there extensive list!

At first we thought there was just counter and outside seating and it was raining! Great vibes from the staff at counter seats. Then we spied the dining room behind the kitchen.Food was delicious and plentiful.

I've recently discovered I'm a salad snob. This one sealed the deal. It was a farmer's market on my plate and I will be back for more! The schnitzel was perfectly crispy and tender, the beer list extensive and well paired. Being tucked into the garden off the street felt like I'd opened a portal into a European dream. Our server Luis was a deep well of knowledge on the menu, chefs, restaurant history and other hidden gems around town. Now I know where to have my next happy hour!

You are doing yourself a disservice if you're not dining here. Great food and such kind service.

The style of food they make is mostly German and is really good. They make a killer baked pretzel, too. And their beer selection is excellent. All go great together while eating outside with friends in their beer garden or inside the cozy restaurant section.Highly recommend!

This is a landmark restaurant, serving since the second world war. Currently, lunch only, classic German fare, including schnitzel, strudel, and a variety of sausages. Seating is patio or enclosed patio, both are shaded by large older trees. Both beer and wine are served, all German or Belgian and even a nice 0 proof bock. Atmosphere is very relaxed and there is surprisingly ample parking on side and behind restaurant. My only ding was desert was a bit slow to arrive. Server was courteous and dunkle beer was excellent against wisewurst.
