Great food, great customer service and fair prices. What else do you need? I wish we had one in my town. Whenever I travel for work to SB, I go to epl. Awesome food!

We recently moved from Santa Barbara, where we would frequent this place 2-3 times/month. We loved the food and service. We happened to be in SB the other day, so stopped in for some take-out. Looks like new owners and/or employees, as the "environment" has changed dramatically. Food was terrible - chicken was dry, tortilla's like card board, etc. Worst of all, the price was outrageous. We will continue to seek out other El Pollo Loco's, but will never return to the SB store! Absolutely awful!

This place stinks! Food was not fresh and the inside smelled like rotten chicken. I sat outside so I didn't have to hold my breath while I was waiting for food. If the people I was with didn't already order food I was have ran away as fast as I could.

Typical chain restaurant with quality food. Try the chicken avo burrito. Nice little patio and good service.
The chicken meat tasted a little old and the chips were a bit stale. Also the place needs some remodeling.

When I asked to substitute an ingredient in my bowl, Rizwana wanted to charge me for a whole side! Over $3!!! For a scoop of corn! My girlfriend who was with me used to work at Pollo Loco and she was surprised at this because she knows the system and knows it should be a lot less than that to substitute an ingredient. Also she wanted to charge us the same for extra tortillas. If you want to get ripped off...this is the right place to go to.

I ordered a bean, cheese and rice burrito add red sauce and avocado. They forgot the red sauce and the burrito was 95% rice.
