My one complaint about this place is the owner. I believe she's the owner any way, she just a very cranky lady. She's mostly in the back, but when she brings out your order she gives it to you with a frown. Lady you should be happy to have customers, try smiling for once.

We stopped by here on our quick day in Santa Barbara. We were not expecting anything spectacular here...we were so wrong.These donuts are legitimately the best I've ever had (and I'm quite the donut addict -hehe). The cronut was absolutely perfect. I recommend getting one plain donut and one cronut -- can't go wrong. I can't even pinpoint WHY these donuts are so much better than any I've had...they just are. Eller's has ruined me! Donuts will never taste the same. The service was friendly, ambience is very "hole in the wall" which I personally love. Just come here, trust me. I crave them every day since!

Best donuts in Santa Barbara. Their cronuts are worth a drive. You know it’s a good donut shop when the donuts are still delicious even when they’re cold. The owners are kind and polite. The sign is hard to see and parking can be tight, but I definitely found my donut shop that I’ll keep coming back to

The place looks worn from outside and it is but this Apple Fritter donut is very good though a bit too sweet and the coffee is hot.
This is one of those places that should go down in history as the "best of." Its very unassuming presence in Santa Barbara makes it difficult to be found unless you are from that area. Having been around the world and having experienced some of the best foods in the world, it can be difficult to find anything these days that I can honestly say is "the best." This place has it. One bite into any of the Eller's raised donuts; Maple, chocolate or sugar glazed and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Light, yet scrumptious puffy donuts quite literally melt in your mouth. I wish they shipped these donuts overnight. It's something I look forward to whenever visiting Santa Barbara!

I absolutely love these yummy sticky, sweet treats. I think the cost of donuts has gone up everywhere and that is true with Ellers. The donuts are consistent and are always yummy. The staff is very sweet and very quick to get your order. Coffee is amazing.

One of my favorite donut places in Santa Barbara. I first learned about this business through my husband and love the variety of donuts they have; even the fancy ones. My favorite one is the chocolate cinnamon roll with the chocolate chips on top. Very chocolaty and delicious. Eller's also has Boba tea, coffee and other drink as well. They also have donuts for sale that I'm not sure are one day old. Customer service is always good and I believe there's a limit you have to spend in order to use your card for payment. Parking is limited on the side, but can park on the side street.
