The cook was unenthusiastic and quite boring and uncharismatic for a Hinachi restaurant. Also, I took about half my food home (bill was over $100 for two people) and forgot to take it home. I can back five minutes later and they “couldn’t find the take home box” that I had left on my table five minutes ago… I think they ate it ..

Very good food, but I had my credit card number compromised and fraudulent charges the morning after I went to dinner at this restaurant.

Ordered this as a takeaway with door dash. So i cant comment on the restaurant or service. But i was really disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered some sushi rolls and sashimi. All low quality. Sushi rolls too wide and thin as well, not normal shape.

I’m very upset, I liked the food, BUT I ordered rice with chicken, twice, the first time they put a spoon in, well done, because it’s not convenient to eat with sticks, the next day they say they don’t have spoons or forks, eat with sticks, that’s what they call you, It’s difficult to buy plastic spoons, in short I’ll never come

Surprisingly great salmon and good service. The atmosphere is very smoky, crowded and noisy.

Went here to celebrate my girlfriend and I’s anniversary, and had such a great experience thanks to Ryan in the sushi bar and Maria as one of the hosts. Great vibes from both the people and the restaurant overall, really great tasting food (we got several different sushi rolls and nigiri), and they even gave us 2 mochi ice cream on the house. Perfect way to end the night, and will definitely come back in the future :)

Horrible experience. Had to leave after waiting for an unreasonable amount of time waiting for cook. Poor cleanliness vents dripping fluid ! Won’t be coming back !

This is a nice place to come to if you're looking for sushi. It's located on lower state st on the 500 block. It's got everything you would want in a Japanese steakhouse including sushi. I usually get the California roll and the crunchy roll when I come here. I think they are better than other rolls that they offer. The crunchy roll is paired with some really nice sweet eel sauce which is good. This is place decent, but I generally go to other spots in town for sushi.Parking: Best to park in a lot here or get street parking if you can.

Stumbled across this place and pleased we did. Watching our food cooked before our eyes was great and our steaks and salmon were delicious.

75$ for two people, no drinks. The quality was worth 40$. Never goin back. I don't mind paying 75$ for two people if it's good . . . this place changed ownership recently and felt like it too.

Guys if you love teppanyki or hibachi style cooking, well this is the place to if your in SB. We had chicken and rib eye steak combo and it was delicious.. with the miso soup and Japanese style garden salad..just wow. We also ordered a sushi roll to share and it's was fantastic. The chef was very entertaining, and the atmosphere was great. If you see my picture there was hardly any people there, so we where we'll taken care of..
