We must have been luckier than many other reviewers... we ate dinner there two days in a row; both times quite satisfactory compared to the price. The poor waiter could apparently not get our strange European jokes, though - but kudos for trying. :-)

had a classic burger and it was disgusting. I've been eating IHOP burgers for years and they're pretty good but this place is gross.pancakes were good but they didn't include the condiments so dry pancakes aren't great.

I've been coming to IHOP for years and in particular to the Goleta restaurant. The service is terrific, always, their employees are very polite and courteous and that's why I keep coming to this location even though the downtown location is closer to me. Unfortunately, the menu has changed a lot and prices have skyrocketed. I ordered my usual omelette, crepes, and an orange juice for 2 people and it was $70!!! When I asked if there was a recent price increase, I was told there was "because of inflation". The last two times I've been here this month, buisness has slowed tremendously. There used to be a line out the door anytime between 10 am-1 pm, by I did not see it the last 2 Saturdays. I think this will be my last visit until prices come down and their menu comes back, unfortunately. I understand that prices need to go up a little to account for the higher price of food and labor costs, but breakfast (pancakes and eggs, should not cost so much)! I ordered a "steak omelette" this morning and got a cheeseburger omelette instead. This is misleading on their menu and if I'd wanted a cheese burger, I would have gone to the Habit Burger for breakfast. I do hope they turn things around for the sake of their long term employees.

I've got mixed opinions about this location. The way the food was plated wasn't to great.Black grease around the plateThe toast was a little old (hard). You can't go up to the counter and pay like just about every other place in the world. Not being able to pay at the register was awarded. The food was pretty good except the bacon was a little chillyI wish these folks well

Poor expirence. Waited 30 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was half empty. After we were seated, we asked the server for a highchair. He brought a booster seat for a 1 year old. Again, we asked him for a high chair, as my child needs to be more secure in an upright chair. He preceded to tell us that he cannot put a highchair at that particular table. We politely asked for accommodation, maybe another table that could have a highchair next to it. He begrudgingly complied with my request and after rolling his eyes, asked me what take would I like? I said, I don't know, what tables can have highchairs next to them? He preceded to let out a large sigh, and roll his eyes again. At this point I had had enough, handed him back the menus and stormed out.I cannot comprehend why we were treated so badly. This is a restaurant. I belive my requests were valid enough not to deserve an attitude. I will never eat at any IHOP I'm town, I belive they are both owned by the same person, and we have had a bad expirence at the other IHOP as well. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, they don't deserve to be in buisness.

The food was very very bland to say the least and on top of that they stop picking up the phone and taking orders way before they close so that’s weird usually places don’t stop serving people because there gonna close they take orders untill they close so that made me kinda mad customer service wasn’t the best either a few days ago I went and some guy I think maybe the manager was on the phone chit chatting while I was standing there waiting to ask for my to go order while it was getting cold while he was on the phone took him like 10 mins to actually attend wich isn’t a big deal but I ended up getting cold food so

Never in my life would I think I would review an ihop but here we are. Only gave it 1 star because 0 was no an option. Sat at the bar, maybe two other customers in the restaurant - two people working, one FOH and one BOH and both of them stood in front of the computer trying to figure out how to ring in someone's order for I kid you not 20 minutes, no server for us at all. This place is garbage. Go get food from the convenient store down the street. You'll at least eat something.

Staff was friendly. Dining area and restrooms were clean. Food was served nice and hot and well cooked. The tea was awesome ?.
The service is just not the best, decided to give them another shot, this was the last time I will visit this location, our waitor forgot to put our order in, wait was longer then it should have been, food was just barely warm. The other Ihop we have in town is amazing and welcoming.

Food was good. But we had to get up and get our server to take our order. It was early and not busy at all. No excuse for that.

Mmm I gave into my cravings once again and visited IHOP tonight. I had been thinking about the Harvest Grain Pancakes and they did not disappoint. The service was also wonderful (I was nervous reading all of the negative reviews about the service). The plate was delivered in a timely manner and the pancakes were nice and hot. Thank you for the nostalgic experience!

Super service and a delightful staff!

Pancakes, bacon and the hash browns were delicious. Pot of coffee on the table was a bonus plus the four different syrups back on the table. Haven't seen this since covid. Service was very prompt and kind. Would recommend.
