My moms favorite place to pick up bread when we come to town. Self serve and prices are responsible. Try the bread pudding.

Burritos and sweets at an unbelievable price! We go there on rainy days but it's a great treat all the time. We went when the power was out but we still got to get our treats! They're so welcoming and friendly and when you walk in you can smell the amazingness!

I have held off on making a review of this place for YEARS, but here it goes….I used to get our Tres leches cakes for birthday parties here all the time! The last time I went I ordered a half sheet (pre-paid of course) but when I went to pick it up it was a full sheet and the person at the front was trying to charge me the difference. She gets on the phone, a little back and forth with whomever then tells me that I can have the cake and they were going to charge it to the worker that made the mistake.I have never gone back there since then and it’s been about 10 years, if not more.My husband went there today and ordered a Tri-tip torta and got 2 strips of Tri-tip for the whole sandwich. The pico de gallo that’s normally included wasn’t and I guess salsa isn’t included either for tortas. This was from a conversation he and his buddy had with the so called owner and she didn’t even try to make the situation better. Not even offering to give a new torta or IOU.I’m not one that usually post reviews, especially negative ones but I had to after today’s experience.Go 2 blocks down to El Zarape or 3 blocks down to Cucas for food they hook it up and it’s fresh as F!!!I wish they had taken pictures of the bush league tortas they got but unfortunately I don’t.

Delicious pan dulce and lovely service and attention to the people. Yeah, they’re busy sometimes but that’s because their pan dulce is so good! And it’s worth being patient :-)

My daughter wanted to pick up some tamales while we were driving down to Santa Barbara. We stopped at La Bella thinking they would have some good tamales. We ordered the pork, chicken and cheese. Out of the three the cheese was the best. The pork was very dry and for the size of the tamales it had very little meat. I couldn't finish it. I would not recommend them based on

Delicious pan dulces and lovely service! If you're expecting the quickest attention then I think you've never worked in the food and service industry. The pan dulce and their attention is worth the wait

Some of the best conchas I've ever tasted - very soft, not overly sweet. Stepping in here was like going to an Asian bakery, but instead of Asian pastries, it was Mexican breads. The Apple empanada was also very balanced - great crispy outside, soft apple cinnamon mixture inside, and the pastry did not never get soggy. Want to come here again to try all the different breads and menudo. They also sell sweet and salty masa in 5 lb bags, so now i know where to go when I want to learn how to make tamales. Parking is tight and the decor seemed a bit outdated, but the cashiers were polite and attentive.

One of the best bakeries in town. All their Mexican confections are the best in town. Also, their bread pudding is some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. And I enjoy anything they fill with custard or sweet cheese. Rosa and her staff are so friendly. Excellent prices and service. A gem! No wonder they have been in business for 40 years!!!!

We ordered Tres Leches cake and a crowd of 89 agreed it tasted like white cake not Tres Leches. Very disappointed
