Drove there and it was under construction. Yelp said it was open & looked through the window and paint cans and cutting supplies glore.

So sad to hear they have to go after 30 years, I will miss them. Best place for breakfast burritos.

Bean burrito was awful, including staff when I ordered. Would not go back.

I've lived in Cito for 30+ years. When I was a kid we'd often come here for family dinners. We always had a great time and the food was tasty. We call their chicken soup "sick soup" and request it every time we have a cold or flu. It used to be delicious. (Even though they've always used frozen veggies and the chicken is terribly dry). This place has gone so far downhill in the past years. There is no flavor. It's about as Americanized as it can be, maybe dumbed down for SB's growing intolerance for spice. This is as close to Mexican food as the $2 tacos from Jack in the box.

So so so good. Traveling from Austin, TX and naturally wanted some Mexican food with my family. Service was amazing, very kind employees. I did not catch her name but the employees was helpful & always made sure our chips were refilled. It was very good! Throughout the whole meal my family and I kept commenting on how good the food was. Thank you!!!

Visited this establishment on 8/24 for breakfast and ordered a machaca breakfast burrito. I was greatly disappointed with the quality of what I received. This was the worst excuse for machaca I've ever had. I fact I wouldn't even call it machaca. Maybe they get away with serving this garbage (Basura) to gringos but for someone who's knows authentic Mexican this placed was horrible. Machaca is roast beef, scrambled eggs, onions, chili peppers and celantro. Not beans and rice with few traces of meat and egg. Never ever go here if you want authentic Mexican.

This restaurant had been in Santa Barbara for over 30 years! It has excellent tried and true Mexican food. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is easily accessible. The owner even helped me out to my car with my bag of leftovers!

some seasoning in the meat and the guys were very rude. Somehow they forgot that you get tortillas with fajitas and said two tortillas was enough a d wanted to charge for more to eat our fajitas...

What a great find, and they have been here for 30 years. As many times that I have been here at the Montecito Mart, I finally walked into Little Alex's, where they have a very nice selection of Mexican food. The aromas as I walked by pulled me in, and the staff are very helpful with food recommendations. Settled in to one of their combination plates. A good sampling of their fresh Mexican dishes. Looking forward to their salads, Little Cravings, Fajitas and Burritos menus. Server Tommy is the best!

I ordered tamale, enchilada , side rice and chips and salsa. The items we sideways in bag and leaked all over my seat and dripped on my shoes and walkway to house. The bottom of bag was full of juice/sauce from the items.According to them it was my fault... I frequent this establishment quite often, but not anymore now. The chicken tamale which is usually delish- couldnt find the chicken, 99% vegetables. Too bad I really liked this place.

Little Alex, big disappointment. It is ok to add some seasoning to the meat. The people of Montecito will not burn up if you do I promise
