One of my top locations for american food. Mood here reminds me of Colorado Springs area.

Tried this place already with a friend and I am hooked ever since. I liked the excellent character and tasty dishes and beverages. Keep up the good work.

I like this restaurant. I had a salad here and it was bigger than the Nordstrom restaurant that I go to in LA. The food was good, service was good and food came out quick. A+

Well, it's been almost a year since I write the first email and since the manager responded so positively, we thought we'd give it another try. Same menu, same response from the cashier when asked about vegan options, "you can take the chicken or cheese off." When I asked if I could sub avocado, she said we could do that for the chicken, but not the cheese. The salad I was ordering had cheese which is incorporated into the price of the salad, but she was not willing to offer anything to compensate for the cheese being removed which meant I was subsidizing Nordstrom. Not a good impression, besides the fact that she made me feel as if I were the one being difficult even requesting a substitute.

Used to be a big Nordstrom cafe fan. My visit last week was disappointing. The waiters were young guys and didn't seem to really pay attention to the details for customers. Not enough silverware at our table, the bread was two minutes from being giant croutons and no plates for the bread. I do hope they step up their game. Hi

Today we had a nice breakfast with friendly service. Hostess remembered my husband and what he normally orders. Sal our waiter was good. My reduction in a point was the music today. Loud rock music. Not appropriate for a relaxing brunch frequented by a older crowd.

My husband and I decided to have early lunch at Marketplace Cafe in Nordstrom before watching the movie, Green Book at Paseo Nuevo Theater. We had Chicken Club sandwich and Turkey Cranberry sandwich with salad. They're very tasty. Great service by Rita and Sal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had the shrimp and arugula salad. It has squares of polenta as the croutons. So savory and delicious. Portion size is great. The tomato bisque was delish! It comes with a sliver of cheesy/crusty bread. I appreciate the thoughtful kid's menu. My 5year old gets the grilled salmon kids plate. It comes with fruit, green beans, and roasted potatoes. Very wholesome.

Today was excellent. Sal made our visit phenomenal! He checked on us, was kind, professional and attentive! The food has always been great here but the service was lacking! Not anymore! Kudos to the management for hiring Sal, he made the difference! Axxess deal was fantastic too!

Our favorite "go to" lunch spot. Great daily specials. The soups are always excellent. Highly recommend the cilantro lime chicken salad or the maple bacon and turkey sandwich. Royale cookie is an absolute must.

Management and staff helped me out a ton and were incredibly friendly. I had lost something of mine and they went through ins and outs to help me get it. They were patient and insistent on helping me all the way through. Food was also great and I always have a great time coming through here

Im not sure why this café doesn't have any reviews yet- it's one of Santa Barbara's best kept secret's! The food is so tasty! The ingredients all come super fresh. The tomato soup and crostini is the best in town. I've been to the Nordstrom Café franchise another location such as in LA at the Grove shopping center and definitely prefer in Santa Barbara. The Santa Barbara has the best food and atmosphere. Not to mention, what a great location for a mid-shopping lunch. The setting is indoor and outdoor, roof top open air patio that allows customers to enjoy café bistro style meals while gazing out onto Paseo Nuevo outdoor mall. It's definitely Other great options to try depending on hunger level are: The Salad Nicoise with salmon, hard boiled egg and green beans The California Pasta with Alfredo, shrimp and asparagus (special) The Club California Sandwich with Turkey, bacon and ripe avocado. ( upon request) French dip is amazing as well!

This place has taken a major decline in quality of food. SOOO bad!! Used to be great! What happened?! We ordered the Asian salad, old mandarins, stale wontons, chewy chicken. Also ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich, no chicken, just chicken SKIN and bread was SO old we couldn't even bite into it! The kids chicken tenders were so chewy my 2 year who eats anything wouldn't eat them and since when does it come with potatoes and green beans?! Bring back the fries!
