The best Latte in this part of the coast. And try the warm cinnamon roll, too.

The service here was absolutely horrible. I witnessed the employees who worked there be disrespectful and talk rudely about customers as they walked out of the cafe. Completely unprofessional and in very poor taste. I will not be going back.

Great cappuccinos and great little patio

A friend and I went for a morning hike and stopped here for a little snack. She got the gluten free blueberry muffin and I got the toast with butter and jam . The sourdough toast is impeccable. The raspberry jam was delicious.

The food is generally pretty good. Service can sometimes be very friendly and other times be quite off-putting. They're lacking consistency, as well. For example, I order their avocado toast a lot with the gluten-free option, which is an added charge. It should include two pieces of gf bread. When I recently ordered it to go, I took it home to find only one piece. It was $14 before tip.

My mom order food for our holiday meal and when my moms order time was at 3:55 and in the morning a random person came in and the person at the front desk said “for (my moms name)”when it was early in the morning not even close to the pick up time.

Great French style offerings. Duck fat potatoes in a salad offering to some items that can be vegan if you skip the cheese. Only 50cent up charge for non dairy milk better than many. Known for their chocolate chip cookies You can buy cookie dough in three flavors ready to bake in a six pack Tucked in the cute montecito mart across from Vons. Easy parking. Cute outdoor seating I want to give it a five but they need more plant based vegan offerings. Love to meet friends at places that can accommodate us all

A beautifully designed well lit indoor outdoor coffee shop in the Montecito Country Mart. They have amazing customer service and truly good coffee. The pastries are delicious! I am giving it four stars simply because the pricing of the items on their menu are on the steeper side. A golden turmeric chai latte is $6 and it’s in (probably) 5-6oz cup. I wanted oat milk that was $1. Plus gratuity of course. It was really tasty - just pricey. But then again it is Montecito so it feels relevant. My friend had the same drink I did plus an egg and bacon biscuit sandwich which she said was good but also it was small. All in all it’s a great experience just be prepared to pay a little higher prices.

THE place to see / be seen / and have a fantastic breakfast (and possibly lunch) when in Montecito. Set unassumingly in a corner of the Country Mart, Merci oozes cool - and they've worked hard to create a super cool and stylish location with attention to every detail. Staff is super friendly, coffee/chai are on point, and the setting can't be beat. Little touches like the small trays for your napkins and flatware, water decanters, the glasses and glass coffee cups - all so chic. Best of all, staff doesn't have an attitude, although they likely have the right to - haha. We ate here twice during our weekend getaway in Montecito - and honestly, if I lived here, I'd be there on the daily.

Authentic and delicious. Everything is good. I wish they didn't sell out, that is my only complaint. Presentation is beautiful. Perfect to take togo on a beach day. Slow service.

Have heard wonderful things about Merci, and finally had the chance to try it. Everything was amazing! Between the 3 of us, we split the chicken Paillard (so tender, flavorful and crispy crust), the BBQ duck confit (so tender and flavorful, too), the kale salad (incredible) and Asian spicy cucumber salad (also great). Enjoyed it with a glass of Sancerre on the patio. So lovely. Wish we had room for their famous carrot cake. We'll definitely be back!

This place is delicious! I got the chicken paillard with green olivey sauce and lemon plus the chicory salad, potato salad, and rice. All of the items I ordered were gluten-free which was amazing! They don't label gluten-free on their online ordering site (wish they did!), but the in-restaurant menu is clearly labeled. Everything was super tasty - great flavors and textures. The restaurant itself is adorable with lots of delicate pinks, brass, light wood, and marble. We sat outside on their patio and took in the sunshine. It's a great location in the Montecito Country Mart. The staff was lovely and welcoming too. I really hope they write a cookbook - I would buy it in a heartbeat!
