Good but not what it used to be.Burgers and fries still outstanding, service good, cleanliness not really up to the standard.Restrooms needed attention desperately.Typically a red flag for me.

The double smash burger deluxe is where it's at. Look no further and grab one with some truffle fries.

Sadly, my partner and I had a terrible experience at Mesa Burger tonight. We went to Mesa Burger on Miegs, the most convenient location for us and the location we frequent most often. We arrived at 7:45 not realizing the restaurant closes at 8pm. I didn't notice the hours posted anywhere but maybe they are posted. The very kind person who took our order was professional enough but probably should have warned us that the manager had already decided to start closing the place earlier than closing time. Instead he took our order which wasn't a terribly large order- one salad with chicken, one order sweet potato fries, one soda, one water. $30+ and we put $2 in the tip jar.We got our table number, I took my cup to the soda machine to find that the machine had been emptied of beverages. The counter person who took our order came over to tell me that his manager wanted us to know that we would not be able to eat in the restaurant as they were closing in 15 minutes (even though we had not ordered to-go and had been given a table number.) In hindsight, I should have asked to get our money back at that point and left. Instead, my partner and I sat at a table near another couple there, waiting for our 'take-out' which we would have to eat in my car ( not what we had planned). When our food was finally brought to us, it was not in a bag, no napkins, no utensils, no dipping sauce as ordered, and no to-go cups for our water.Eating in the car didn't appeal to me at this point, especially when I discovered that my fries were overcooked and had absolutely no seasoning on them. Pretty bland. My partner ate his salad right there in the car and said it was as delicious as we always expect from MesaBuger. At least dinner wasn't a total bust! We don't plan to return to this location. Bad management, bad service by the manager. If he wanted to close the restaurant before closing time the very least he should have done was to warn us before we ordered and were handed that table number! So disappointing and unprofessional.

I mean who would spend this much on a burger right? Well, you’ll see once you get one! 4 stars because it is a little pricey, but it’s the highest quality burger date night in town!

True flame grilled burger! The burgers are cooked to order and offer local customization. Each burger and sandwich on the menu comes with fries which are amazing!

Mesa Burger is our go-to spot for burgers after evening events near my daughter's school. The Mesa Burger with a fried egg is my favorite, and the onion rings on the side are a must-have. The small but decent beer selection is a nice touch, too. The only downside is the parking in the shopping center, which is always tight, but it's worth it for the delicious food and friendly service. If you're looking for a great burger joint in the area, Mesa Burger is definitely worth checking out.

Ordered food to be picked up in a couple hours. Came in 20 minutes early got my food and left. Opened it at home, the food was completely cold, pretty sure they cooked it when the order was placed, not for the pick up time. So yeah, thanks for giving me food that has been sitting out for 2 hours. Also the burger was terrible, granted I had to microwave it to make it even remotely edible, but still a terrible burger.

My friend said the best burger in the world in Santa Barbara. After this weekend, I found some merit to his claim. We came on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm. There was an ample amount of people sitting outdoors. There's a selection of beers available too. We got one burger for the three of us to try. Weirdly, it took almost half an hour to come out. The Montecito Burger is such a genius combination of toppings: beef patty / glazed mushrooms / single onion ring / arugula / grilled onions / goat cheese / truffle aioli. The goat cheese is creamy, the mushrooms are savory, and the arugula gives it a pop of freshness. The patty was perfectly medium rare. The fries was a star on its own, drenched in truffle oil and garlic. Alright, we'll excuse the long wait.
