The truth is that all the Mexican food restaurants in the Santa Barbara area, apart from Cara, don't serve anything, the only one more or less is the Arroyo restaurant, nothing to do with the restaurants and the taqueros in Los Angeles, they lack seasoning, anything else, the meats come rececas ?????

I LOVE Milpas Taqueria. If you are in the mood for a hidden gem with fabulous, authentic dishes, this is the place for you. Tucked away on Milpas, it is my go to Mexican restaurant.Hilda and Rogelio Salas, the owners, will take care of your cravings - I go there often!
Good hidden spot. Authentic Mexican food. I got the pork riblets in green sauce. Very tasty, definitely recommend it.

A real hole in the wall hidden gem, I've been to a fair amount of Mexican restaurants in the Santa Barbara area and as far as tacos go I think this is my new favorite place out here. They use fresh hand made tortillas and really good sauce. When we got here the inside of the restaurant reminded me of the street taco restaurants out Ensenada, they have an outdoor patio with some extra tables and a tv. Inside has about 3 tables and a tv as well. We actually came here on accident, we found the address for the Mexican restaurant next door to Milpas Liquor and once we parked and walked through the back we thought this was the spot. Thankfully it was a happy accident because Milpas Taqueria is way better than the other spot in the front.
