The customer service is why I will be eating here regularly. My drink was never empty and if it got close they were on it. My food was great just needed a dash of salt. I really liked that they seem to know their customers and care about what's going on in their lives. They even insisted I take a Togo cup. Good people and good vibes.

Lived in SB 30 years, have been away 30 years and recently was visiting family and returned to Petrini's. Had forgotten how wonderful the meatballs were. The #2 salad seemed smaller but tasted as good as I

As old school as it gets - Petriin's is a Santa Barbara classic and it should be on your list of places to go ... and to go back to again and again. Truth be told, it's probably been 10 years since we've been there, but there's something so wonderful and nostalgic about this place that we had often talked about returning. Red and white checkered tablecloths? Yes. Naugahyde booths? Yes. Ancient pizza ovens? Yes. Around since 1958 and looking every bit the matriarch of Italian food in this neighborhood, Petrini's is a classic. We started with a classic house salad - the Italian house dressing is SO good. Chilled bowls of salad and they bring you the dressing in your own self-serve bottle. As an appetizer, we got a pair of meatballs, served piping hot in a bowl full of red sauce. Hearty and delicious, just like you want it. My husband got the Pasta Primavera with an Alfredo Sauce, and he said it was great - veggies cooked perfectly. I got the Linguini Carbonara which was rich, decadent and delicious. They serve all this with great cheesy garlic bread - and if you're not full after this ... well, we were - so we skipped out on dessert. The last time we were there we got a pizza, and while I'm sure that's great, I don't know how we overlooked their amazing menu of pasta and special entrees. We got in early, but by the time we left, it was packed. This place has stood the test of time - and I'm so happy that we rediscovered it after all these years.

Amazing service! Everyone was very attentive and friendly. The place was cozy. Plenty of seating and one of the things that my family noticed was the light bulbs had a dimming pant on the bottom part that made it so much nicer. Now the food! This place has officially ruined all other Italian restaurants for my family! We loved EVERYTHING we ordered! I don't normally like tiramisu but I even asked if they sell it a whole one because I would have ordered it for my birthday cake! I highly recommend going there and trying off everyone's order. We did soups, meals and shared desserts for 4 people and it was about $120ish. Very reasonably pricedUpdate: Our family is now driving two hours to eat here now. Almost 4 hours round trip for their food. If that doesn't tell you it's a 5 star place I don't know what it!
