While in SB from out of town for a wedding we had pizza on our mind. Jumped on the interwebs to see what was near by and found Revolver. Their limited menu gave us confidence that what is offered must be pretty good. When we arrived at their location we found an inviting store front with great staff. We returned to our hotel with our order and fully enjoyed the Caesar salad, pepperoni pizza and a slice of house made cheese cake. If you looking for some quality pizza Revolver should be at the top of your list.

Saw this from article on SFGate! This place did not disappoint!Cozy location and tucked in the neighborhood off the regular tourist path.We ordered the half Margherita half pepperoni pizza. This was just what we were craving. The sauce was perfect in flavor, not too sweet or overpowering. The basil was fresh and the generous amount of pepperoni was delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the bottom and soft on top and thin with great flavor.Such a cozy little atmosphere to sit in outside. Felt like a rustic and eclectic garden while enjoying our dinner. We were so glad that I had found the article and made a point to visit this place. Would definitely order from here whenever we come back to Santa Barbara! As a reference if your visiting or staying near downtown, we took an Uber there and walked about 20+ minutes back to State St. to walk it off. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

4.7/5 Feels right at home in SB. Funky, straaightforward shop offering an artisan twist on a NY pizza chassis. Some of the best crust in So Cal - this is great pizza. Shop - eclectic, jazzy, bohemian in the best way. Rock tunes playing, minimal seating and a beer and wine fridge. No frills, the $ goes into the main prize...credit cards accepted, service good enough. Cool terrace out front that offers seating and mood lighting in the evening. Good enough for me! 4.5/5 Structure/crust - you have to let it cool down for 7-10 min to set; otherwise you're in trouble. Immediately noticed an NY crust; golden, evenly cooked and moderately thin on the crust. Wonderful flavor!!!! Fermenty, well set dough with a phenomenal chew and crunch. I taste a sourdough starter...very much a NY pie shop feel; complex and capable! A crack in the back half and the pie had no problem managing the weight of the tomato, cheese and basil. 5/5 crust! Banger!!! So money...it doesn't even know how money it is.. Sauce - they kept the sauce simple. I imagine they stuck with traditional San Marzano tomatoes and some sauce. Does the pizza justice as the crust is doing so much for the flavor already. I will say, I'd love to throw my seasoned, cooked sauce on a pie w the owner and see how it sits w a bottle of Central Coast red wine..one can dream! 4.75/5 Cheese - simple, mozz. I didn't pick up much sharpness, but was having a local beer...did absolutely fine and allowed that fresh basil to do its thing. Good amount, and happy they didn't use fresh mozz here. 4.5/5 Caught em while they were quiet, feel fortunate I did...I haven't had all of Santa Barbara's pizza, but you'd be hard pressed to find a higher quality NY style pizza with sophisticated flair. Trustworthy as its six-shooter namesake; Revolver is a bulls eye shot from the hip.

Ordered for takeout. Pizza is too expensive (I paid $29 dollars for a 14 inch pepperoni pizza), and way too salty.

Revolver is the best pizza place in Santa Barbara. My husband and I are foodies and we’ve been to all of the well known pizza places in SB. This is by far the best. We’ve been to NY (my husband serval times) and we’ve had our fair share of excellent pizzas so I’d like to think that gives us some credibility. We have high standards and this place meets them.We ask for our pizza well done so that the bottom is crispy and for us it’s a toss up of what’s better between the margarita or the pepperoni. You can’t go wrong with either. The staff is genuine and friendly too. We come here almost every Friday now. Some of the decorations are not very kid-friendly/appropriate but other than that it’s awesome.

The pepperoni pizza is so good. Crust is delicious, sauce has a hint of sweetness. We placed our order and went next door to The Tully for a drink- they brought our pizza over to the bar! Definitely worth the price.

I would give a 4.5 because of the price to size ratio. It is very expensive for the size. For the price, I would expect a larger pizza and a little more weight to it. And fresh basil not cooked fresh basic. I think it best to have a little fresh cooked and then some garnish with super thin cut basil. But one of the top two best tasting pizzas in town. Cure location too. Great for a pizza and wine date.

First, the food. I've been watching the One Bite Pizza reviews that Dave Portnoy does and I can't stop thinking about pizza. My constant, insatiable craving for pizza as of late has just maybe been tamed by Revolver. Their "New York style" pies were the right amount of crispy, saucy, and gooey. Just how I like it. Overall, amazing pizza. So far the best I've had in Santa Barbara. Second, ambiance. Two words come to mind when I think of this place. Small and mighty. As you walk into the store, you feel as though you're walking into an A24 directed movie set about a small town pizza shop. With tons of decor heavy in cultural references, a turntable with vinyl spinning, and a bar with direct view to the kitchen, you can't help but feel like you found some sort of hidden gem. The outdoor patio area is cool too. Last, the service. It is maybe the only thing holding me back from giving a 5. The people were really nice. It just took a little long. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because it was a Sunday night and it seemed like they were getting tons of orders out of nowhere. Nonetheless, it was 3 of us in the store and we were told it would take 45 minutes. Would I wait for this pizza again? Yes and yes again. In review. Go here if you just watched some OneBite pizza reviews and you need to get ahold of your pizza cravings.

So we enjoyed the pizza and staff was very friendly. Only complaint was that for close to $40 with tax and tip for a 14" pie with 2 toppings in an "off the beaten path" part of town, we thought it was overpriced.

I'm from out of town. Revolver has a great staff an the pie is very good. We got 3 pepperoni 3 margarita and a mushroom. For 12 people I think there were no leftovers. Good stuff

This 5-Star review is long overdue. The true chef crew at Revolver fully brings it and we're lucky in SB that they chose pizza for their offering. Everything from the pizza ingredient quality care, sauce game (dressings, hot sauce, etc.), and then actual process makes Revolver not just one of the best pizza spots on the West Coast (fact), but it makes it one of the best restaurants in Santa Barbara from a food + culture standpoint and what they're about. I'm so happy and grateful every time we decide to pick-up from Revolver and only wish it was closer to us in Carp. Pumped for the soon upcoming Linden Hall. Thanks to everyone who makes Revolver all that it is -

Finally had a chance to try Revolver. Wasn't very busy so didn't wait long for our pizza. Was really tasty and delicious. Added Ricotta cuz it is my fav. Super fresh and cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to try again.

The owner of Ace Rivington (also recommend his men’s clothing store on State) recommended Revolver, amongst other things around the city. It’s a hole in the wall, with 4 tables outside and 3 bar stools inside. The flavor of the pizza is good. The crust is crispy and not too doughy. Really good blend of good pizza! There are other good pizza places around, but we like supporting the smaller businesses that are not as well known to everyone since they are a bit off the beaten path
