Had carne asada tacos from this food truck parked down on Carrillo near the pier in Santa Barbara. They were so good. Meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The pico de gallo was fresh and zesty. The salsas were incredible too. The green and the red were bomb with good levels of spicy but not overpowering. Apparently, it used to be a standalone restaurant that recently closed due to COVID-19. Hope the taco truck works out, because his food is incredibly good.

A top spot for quality mexican food. The service here is better than most.

Best place to grab food when in a rush. The service is prompt, rates are fair, fantastic vibes. Will visit here again

Had the pastor burrito. The burrito came out less than 90 seconds after ordering which led me to believe I ate a $9 pre made burrito which was heated on the griddle to order. Not great quality, taste not the best, but I've had a couple worse in my day. Icing on the cake was I got very ill after eating this. Maybe don't get the pastor ?

Loved your restaurant over the years I've been eating your burritos since 2014. So sad to see you go ? I hope the food truck will be successful!

This spot clearly knows how to treat their customers. Regularly with a very welcoming attitude. The food is affordably priced, constantly delicious and clean.

Picked up a couple of bacon breakfast burritos on my way in to work the other day for a buddy and myself. They were friendly and the burrito was delicious..filled me up for most of the day..I will be back!

My wife & I went yesterday, we drove in from Oxnard. We ordered 2 tacos al pastor at $2.99 & 2 lengua (tongue) at $3.35, these were the prices showing on their menu right in front by the order window. We knew right off that the lengua tacos were a little more. When she gave us the total it was a little over $17. In my calculations I'm coming up with $12.68 plus tax. When I questioned her about this her response was "There's an additional $1.50 per taco for lengua." WHERE ON THE MENU DOES IT SAY THAT. Never again will we go, it's just bad business to do that.

This has been our go-to for authentic tacos in Santa Barbara, but we won't be going back after our visit there yesterday. Without posting or mentioning it, $3.00 was silently added for 2 lengua tacos that were pretty awful (when asked, we were told it's because it takes a long time to cook lengua)! AND, 50 cents was added "for take-out"! More worrisome was the visit INSIDE THE KITCHEN of a friend or relative with 2 little boys...right in the middle of the food prep area. That would be unsanitary enough in normal times but, hey, aren't we all working together to combat the spread of COVID-19??? Again, we won't be going back. Too bad, it would be nice to be able to support our local eateries.

I love this walk up restaurant! I get tacos, cheapest on the menu, and the flavor knocks my socks off. I go with my dog, and hang out at an outdoor table and watch the world go by. Weekend have some powerful Menudo, and the serving is enough for 2 people!

Food was just okay. They also need to get more creative with some vegetarian options.
