Great dinners at Roy Sat night. Everything on the menu sounded good. The house made warm bread absolutely delicious. Just wish they had a little live dinner music. That would have been perfect. Also, they don't offer Bombay Sapphire gin for some reason. But Hendricks was ok. We will definitely be back!!

My fiancée and I decided to come to ROY for an intimate date night and boy did ROU deliver. The pasta carbonara and crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had.All my coworkers make fun of how much I raved about this place. We also went for Valentine’s Day and the fixed menu was lovely.I can’t wait to keep coming back here. Thank you, Roy!

I made a reservation one week in advance and requested a window. William took the reservation. Got there 5 minutes before and did not get a window table. Server left bread, butter and water. I had to request to make our order. We did. Asked server if there were any sides with the entrees as menu did not describe any. Server said they had no sides only soup or salad which was included. We ordered 2 glasses of wine. 20 minutes later no vine yet, had to ask again. Salad and soup, appetizers arrive. After one hour, server comes with entrees, one plate in each hand, no place at table as he never collected appetizers empty plates. Entrees did come with sides (server had no idea), potatoes and carrots (undercooked). At this point our wine glasses were empty. No one at any time asked if we wanted more wine. I then asked server if the dessert was included to bring it for us, he had no clue that the dessert was included. Dessert took another 20 minutes (really?). I asked what the server’s name was and voila…it was William. Really, I had never had such a bad experience. Service was awful. We spent $180.00 including tip and tax. It should have been complementary. Very disappointed. Did this place change ownership? We had not gone there for a while. It did not used to be this bad.

Terrible service. I won't be coming back and neither will my friend. The owner of Roy and the staff ignored me and my guest for over 10 minutes upon arrival at the front door entrance. I had to go up to a waiter who was bringing out food to tell him we had a 7:30 pm reservation. He told me to sit down at any table, which we did in the center of the restaurant and then we were ignored for an additional 20 minutes. It wasn't that busy to warrant being ignored and it seemed like the owner's friends and regulars perhaps were being taken care of. I had to flag down a waitress who brushed us off, but she did send the owner over, who took our drink order. No apology or acknowledgment of the crappy service we received, after mentioning the wait, but he took our drink order quickly with no thought or care. Getting our drinks took way too long and we ordered food once they arrived. The food was good, but no one ever checked on us once during our whole meal. No how is your food, do you need another drink, or dessert, nope! I had to get up and track down the male waiter to ask him for our check. I couldn't wait to get out of there, the only redeeming part was the great live jazz being played and catching up with my friend.

This night the restaurant was probably overwhelmed. While there were more staff, they didn't seem organized. Drink orders still took 15+ minutes and dirty dishes and glasses accumulated on people tables. The food wasn't as perfect as usual and took 50-60 minutes to arrive. I'll still go back though.

Good food,(especially the home made bread and the spaghetti carbonara), good people, good music. Open late. What more can you ask for?

Old school feel, art centric decor, excellent waitress but over-extended, food was truly excellent, very quiet but it was early Sunday evening. Most memorable thing: the food was exceptional.

A beautiful evening was had dining at Roy. The crab cakes were delicious as well as the decently priced New York Steak which was very juicy and had a delicious mushroom sauce that accompanied it. Will definitely be returning soon!

Celebrated new years here and the entire staff were nothing but gracious! The food was absolutely fantastic and we were offered a free glass of champagne to ring in the new year. The owner Roy also went to each table to say cheers. 10/10!

We went there for New Year's Eve before going to a show. The place as could be expected, was incredibly crowded and became quite noisy. But it was New Year's Eve, so what did we expect except that it would be noisy. The server unfortunately we did not get his name was a very nice young man, and did a very very good job. The food was excellent and well presented. Our only criticism is we had a 6 o'clock reservation and when we first walked in a little before six we were greeted with we're not open till six and do you have a reservation. We thought that we could've been greeted a little nicer. Would definitely go again, but probably not on a holiday night.

Great food. We had what appeared to be a newbie server. He was shy and needed prompting but a back up waitress was watching and stepped in as needed. I highly recommend the steaks and caprese salad. My wish would be that they had better salt on the fables but that is minor.

Roy is a very talented chef, not only is he passionate but he's honest, I worked for him for the three days' unfortunately a family disaster occurred during my employment here and I had to quit. But what I will say is that he is a much needed staple in this community. Being part of the cook crew I witnessed unprecedented attendance to detail. Fresh produce being brought in. Fresh seafood. This chef is doing what few things chefs do..cook they're own food and stay accountable to they're standards. I wasn't long there but I soon understood the importance of cleanliness, good adherence to quality and up most, honesty, Roy is a local business owner and his personality is gold. Come enjoy some of the fantastic food here.Ps, before I became cook here I was a patron for many years. Roy is a very undecided sweet individual.I hope you taste his carbonara, or the crab cakes, they're to die for.

Wonderful late night dinner, good selection of wines and spirits and a romantic atmosphere. Love the local art show case and Roy, himself often visits your table
