My favorite Mexican restaurant! We always stop here on our way down to San Diego. Great food and huge portions. Both cheese enchiladas and bean sopes are delicious.Vegetarian options: Cheese enchiladas and potato taquitos. Not sure if their beans and rice are vegetarian.Parking: Small parking lot shared with a Mexican market.

I visited Rudy's Restaurant recently and tried their Agua Fresca, but unfortunately, it tasted quite off, almost like it had gone bad. Disappointing experience overall.

Sadly this is the second time I have gone to Rudy's and the food has been OK. Literally the refried beans had been microwaved and burned on plate. Kinda bummed as I remember the food being so much better but for $22 taco and enchilada I prefer my food cooked properly. The cashier was nice, helpful. Love the outdoor seating.

Always a lunch stop when we visit Santa Barbara! The potato taquitos are killer!!! Don't miss them! I had forgotten until my last visit how great their beans are as well. As a non-meat eater, bean selection is crucial for me at a taqueria. Each location is different. Some better for dining in than others... but the staff is always friendly and food is delicious. Definitely a quick and easy , fail proof option!!!
