No idea why Rusty's has such low stars. Everyone in Santa Barbara knows Rusty's is the best pizza (here or anywhere). The pizzas come out quickly, and the restaurant has an old school vibe with large tables and games for kids.

What a total mess, no option for(cash only) online. So i called dispatch, they messed up on my address, then they arrived and no pepperonis on my pizza ! Just a headache !

Really great pizza place- reminds me of the old days as a kid with the long tables, salad bar, and family friendly environment. We got the rusty special pan- omg it was so good I couldn't get a picture til it was halfway gone...super cheesy and ample generous toppings - they didn't skimp!

The pizza is always good.This is the only pizza place I've been that doesn't deliver the pizza to your table.The salad is OK. You have the potion of a large or small single trip salad. The lettuce is always green, but it's only iceberg. Most of the toppings are usual low. And if you want ranch dressing, you always have to scrap the bottom of the barrel.The staff is always nice. The place is mostly clean

It was my first time going to Rusty's. It was just OK. I ordered take out onlinw When I arrived and gave my name the cashier, she asked very rudely if I wanted to add a tip. Hell no! Why would I? I walked inthe door asked for my food that I ordered online. Why would one leave a tip for that kind of order. Then I didn't even know if the food was good or not, or if my order was even ready. She walked off apparently annoyed by me saying no. She said something to another person behind the counter and she handed me my pizza. The pizza was cooked just fine, but it was OK at best. I wouldn't recommend Rusty's or not recommend it. It was just OK. I come to Santa Barbara on a regular basis and I will definitely search out other pizza joints. I thought the price was high for what I recoeved.

The food here is ok, nothing to write home about. But the customer service? I should have taken the name of the lady who works the register. She is SO rude, looks at you like you're stupid when you ask a basic question (do you have bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce, do you have breakfast bacon or just Canadian?) and just all around seems like she hates her job so her crappy attitude spills over onto the customers. I've been here twice this summer after riding the train from Ventura with my son. Both times she was there with her crappy attitude and BOTH times I saw customers walk out because her horrible service was very obvious. Fix her attitude or tell her to hit the bricks!
