was in the area and decided to stop by the guys working the counter were wonderful to chat with and my guy Bobby was a very pleasant soul to converse with the cold sanwhiches are nothing crazy but is very solid and the hot sandwiches are quite good as well. We were able to sample their Cajun fries and they were spectacular. would definitely go again! shoutout bobby

Order a few times from. GH to Carpinteria. Always enjoyed the food, and the orders are correct. Why go fast food when you can get a great burger from here!

Heartbroken when this place changed hands. I have been eating here for over 20 years but not any more! I used to get their burger combos weekly and sandwiches occasionally. The old owner was always so nice and funny and knew you by name. The new owner is not very friendly and the food quality has gone down. We will always miss the old Sam's to go! : (

Just look at this sandwich... so sad and it tasted like it looked! Horrible ! Two thin slices of gross deli turkey. Literally Kraft plastic cheese and was surprised the plastic wrapper wasn't still on the cheese ... Brittle bacon with burnt taste and old sprouts that were underneath that can't be seen! Barely any avocado just wiped inside.....This place used to be good and a SB go to. I would definitely NOT recommend buying sandwiches here! Disgusting!!!

I just had the most pleasant experience at this sandwich shop. The pastrami sandwich was nothing short of a masterpiece. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the perfectly seasoned and tender pastrami melting in my mouth, complemented by the freshness of the ingredients tucked within the bread. But what truly elevated this experience was the impeccable service, especially from one of the staff members. Their passion for crafting sandwiches was evident; their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring each customer's satisfaction turned a simple lunch into a memorable culinary journey. Without a doubt, this place has set a new standard for what a phenomenal sandwich should be.

Was looking for a quick basic sandwich. Visited today at lunch and got just that. On the pro side it was quick, relatively good prices, good variety. On the con side the sandwiches could have had more flavor. The chicken was kinda chewy. It did the job but I think next time I'll accept a bit more of a drive for a place with a bit more food quality.

Stopped in for lunch. Great staff, tasty chicken club - the bread truly makes the sandwich!

I ordered over 40 lunch boxes for a group. Everything was ready when we arrived and everybody enjoyed their sandwiches. Excellent service and food quality.

Avoid this despicable place. I tried placing an order over the phone. The owner started yelling at me because I said “large” which apparently isn’t a size they provide (though it states it on Doordash). Then he hung up, called me back and asked what my name was. Once he realized I was middle-eastern he said “are you going to order a sandwich or what? Hung up before I can respond. Called me back again and said, “jackass.” SHOCKING! Maniac…Weirdest interaction I have ever had in my life as far as customer service goes. Super rude and racist. I ended up going to a differently location (Meigs Rd.) and they were so sweet. Go there instead. Their sandwiches are way better anyway.

Food is good but the owner is not really a people person and makes it unpleasant to dine in here. He can be a bit rude and standoffish sometimes randomly. And he'll bug you if it's your car in the parking lot(multiple times separate occasions) And the food portions are tiny.

Always love Sam's To Go! Started at the IV location years ago. Great sandwiches. We will be back.

Staff was rude, and I got food poisoning after eating here. Go elsewhere! This place has really gone downhill after the change of ownership.
