This is one of my favorite places in Santa Barbara. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. 10/10!

Well what a treat! We have walked by a few times and never pulled in. What a mistake that was.An amazing atmosphere, an amazing selection of local wines and to top it off Savanah was a wealth of knowledge and displayed it in such a professional and refreshing way. The cheeses were also fabulous, great job. We will be back and will bring others! Thank you.

Good Food and good Wine at great price and amazing ambiance. The service is outstanding, and they had live music - jazz style is perfect for this cozy place.

Santa Barbara Wine Collective is an absolute gem! Fantastic and modestly priced wines, pleasant ambiance, wonderful staff, and live music on weekends. (Also delicious coffee beverages at Helena Ave Bakery next door!)If I lived in SB, I’d be a regular here. Highly recommended!

Love this place! Great wine selection, honest recommendations, and good snacks. Also, the service is very friendly. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the wine selections. Thank you Shar for a wonderful experience.

Had a nice private event here. The wait staff was nice, but for how many worked the event, they were not very on top of missing silverware/napkins. Food served with nothing to eat it with repeatedly. An area to improve but a nice overall experience. If you have any hearing issues, it was loud. The live music, combined with the size group we had, as well as background kitchen noise (blender) was a little challenging. Compliments to the chef though! Each dish was lovely. Reviews were only hit or miss on the dessert.

Nice little hidden spot. Quality selection of local and foreign wines. Happened to go on a day with live music, performer was really good! Dog friendly patio and you can bring In food. Would definitely go back!

I really hate that I have to write this and give SB Wine Collective 2 stars, however when something happens to ruin your whole time there, really offsets the rest of your experience. Tucked behind Figueroa Brewing and Helena Ave Bakery by day/wine by night, SB Wine Collective has an amazing selection and choices for everyone. The woman who helped us was generous by allowing me to try something until I found what I liked, going as far to suggest wines for me for my particular taste. Very nice ambiance and games to keep you entertained in their patio. What went wrong though? As we were playing a game, my friend accidentally knocked over the wine glass in which the pieces came in (imo poor choice as I'm sure tipsy guests do this often). As staff came to help clean up, my poor puppy was pretty scared and began barking at the mop as I tried to calm him down. This literally took no more than 3 minutes time and we were apologetic that we broke the glass, the woman who was kind enough to say "no problem happens all the time". But now- the manager decided to come and give us a lecture on how my dog whom everyone kept coming up to to pet was a bother and he received complaints and that I needed to "take care of the situation". Talk about a total buzz kill- literally. I was more in shock as this place had tons of people talking, women on the other side laughing screaming, and customers who kept coming to my pet to pet him without permission. Yet WE got reprimanded. When I went after to talk to the manager saying I did not appreciate his tone or attitude , he proceeded with more lecturing and tales of how his own dogs barks followed by what he does in the situation. Then when I said it had only been a few minutes, he had the audacity to tell me "seriously? It's been 20 minutes your dog had been barking." Not only was that incorrect, it was out of line. To be fair, I completely understand his perspective of keeping other people happy, but the tone and overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth, especially for a winery.... So if you decide to go, in all honestly decent place, but felt pretty snooty snoot to me in the end.

Just visited this spot today. Super disappointed. The woman (blond chick) that was there was NOT friendly, did not say anything to use unless we ask questions. She seem to HATE her job. There were no customer service from her, just very standoffish, she just looked miserable. I had to ask her, tell me more about the wine you carry, wow really? It's like trying to get more info out of her. Usually a reply like, "What type of wine do you usually like, red or white?" If you like red, you may want to try ................, if you like white on a dryer side, I would recommend ............... NOTHING from the staff. Said nothing until we asked, but when we did ask, gave us a hall a** answer. We tried the Chariot flights and the Empress Flight. Not impress with the empress flight but the Chariot flight was better. After that we had to bus our own table. I tip very generously but this visit was so disappointing, that a zero tip was very worthy. Your attitude is a zero therefore you get a 0. I would not return nor recommend.

Santa Barbara Wine Collective is a gold mine for the wine curious. After one step through the roll up doors you know why. BTG pours, flights and a wine wall of Santa Barbara's best terroir driven wines made by the area's signature best, family owned wineries. Y'all aren't gonna find this especially curated, intentionally lovely inventory on the wine wall at Target - nor does it belong there. For the average Costco shopping fanboy, SBWC employs knowledgeable & hospitable team members there to guide your pours, talk through non-major varietals, and explain placements on the list. For the authentic oenophile, the vast selection of high quality, limited quantity, terroir driven educational tastings will be too hard to resist. The list is mentally stimulating and truly approachable for those who know. If you hold your wine glass by the bowl and regularly gulp "The Prisoner" or any other OS-Gallo / Constellation / commercial brand wines, there is a great chance nothing on this list will be recognizable to you. For me - it intellectually fantastic and a favorite must-stop while on the Cali Coastline.

Be sure to check your tab. We were almost double charged for a $95 bottle of sparkling wine and almost paid for someone else's tab, when the check was brought to our table. The wine was good.
