Exceptional authentic home cooked Mexican food, handmade to order. Service made me feel like a guest, not just a customer. Highly recommend.

Amazing!!!! Such great food. The nachos were incredible and the service was great. My wife eats low carb and she got the bowl with no rice and it tasted healthy and delicious. I recommend getting fresh avocado in place of the guacamole sauce for the extra charge on the nachos. It's like 1.50 extra but so worth it!!! We will be back next time we are in SB.

The owner Efren (from Michoacán), allowed me to have dinner and a cold beer after they were closing (slow Monday night). He made me a plate of Chile Verde (pork), very tasty.
Excellent service and best authentic Mexican food in Santa Barbara. I will definitely come back and bring my family and friends too.

I am a big customer during the winter months because their soup is a hit with my family. Actually all their food is home style traditional Mexican food and the family that works their couldn't be more hospitable. Theirs soups are so flavorful and have big helpings of veggies and meat and come with piping hot, steaming corn or flour tortillas. The ONLY reason I didn't give this restaurant five stars is because I can never find parking in the area but it's not their fault. The restaurant actually looks like a residence with tables on the porch area as well as inside. It's located in a residential/commercial area semi hidden and I usually order for pick-up anyway so I sometimes park where I shouldn't which I do not recommend.

Disappointing. The chimichanga was a lot of rice, a lot of beans, carne asada was tougher and chewier then I'm used to getting. It wouldn't take much for this place to be a neighborhood hit.
