Went here for dinner and had the steak and fries, as well as the mussels and clams. The steak had a chimichurri sauce that really overpowered the whole plate. I left most of it because of the overpowering taste, and it was not tender. The mussels and clams were pretty good, but not great (maybe a 3.5 out of 5 review, for that plate). The restaurant wasn't too busy and we never got a water refill. 2 stars for the pricey chewy steak and subpar service.

This was exceptional Mexican food. Wonderful, complex flavors that I never experienced before. A real treat.

Great customer service today by gentleman serving us around 5 pm. Top notch! Down below are pictures, all in all we spent over $110 on tapas style items. Ambiance was nice, the one plate that is an absolute is the Tuna tostadas is hands down absolutely the best thing we tasted. Also had the Paloma Ahmuada which was meh.

We had a fantastic dining experience. The staff was super friendly and the food blew my mind. Perfectly seasoned steak tacos and Cauliflower using a pastor sauce and mole in the base? Yes please! Their spicy cucumber margarita is out of this world. Will definitely come back here again.

Great atmosphere, love the urban style of the dining room, music is great, and most importantly food and drinks are amazing! Great choice for sharing style, me and my girl ordered the tuna tostada, really good, refreshing and little spicy. Pork belly tacos are fenomenal with that carrot habanero purée, the crispy off the skin is delicious. For drinks we ordered a Rum drink (tall glass) really good and citrus, and a Gin drink really smooth and frothy, refreshing. Love the experience and will definitely come back!

Where do I start this place was amazing I've been here pre covid and I think it's better now the drinks were spot on I definitely recommend the spicy cucumber margarita and the Oaxacan old fashioned it might be the best old fashioned in town and the food was excellent as well the mushroom quesadilla and New York steak were both excellent and if you like it spicy you can't go wrong with the aquachille also the avocado(a modern take on guac) is the perfect starter and the service was top notch would definitely recommend

This place was one of my favorites before Covid. Now it's like they're making an effort to make me never come here again. They got rid of the short rib, Birria style tacos, cut down the menu by 80%. Watered down all of their drinks. Started charging about 20 bucks for all of their menu items, that all come out cold. Never coming back to this over priced, mediocre so called mexican restaurant.

I had the Little Gems salad which was delicious. However, I ordered the steak tacos and it took over an hour for them to come to the table, with nary an apology or offer of some consideration for the extremely long wait, other than to tell me he doesn't have control of what goes on in the kitchen. Meanwhile my dinner companions had eaten multiple rounds of appetizers and other things before the tacos FINALLY arrived. They were quite fabulous, and I would highly recommend them. Hopefully it won't take an hour for you to get yours!

Came here on Fiesta weekend and was seated immediately! Waitress was so helpful in giving suggestions and all her recommendations were bomb! We basically got half the menu. In the appetizer section we got the pulpo ceviche, crudo ceviche, and esquite. We got both the pork belly tacos and the steak tacos. And then for the main we got the clams and chorizo. All the food came out promptly and was seasoned so well! Our favorite was the pork belly tacos! Had the perfect meat/fat ratio and absolutely just melted in my mouth. For three people this was the perfect amount of food for us. Definitely one of my new favorite spots and is a great place to take people from out of town if you want to show off then fresh flavors of SB as well as the deep influence of Mexican culture. On the pricier side if you're more accustomed to street taco prices but definitely worth the splurge.

Oh wow where do I even start. Some of the best food I have had in Santa Barbara. The wild shrimp ceviche was everything you need in a ceviche. The Cauliflower in mole was a flavor journey . The pork belly taco was life changing... i dream about this taco! Definitely try that! I also recommend the mushroom quesadilla that had a beautiful mushroom flavor. Not too much just enough. But i don't think you can go wrong with anything on this menu! The service was also great and the environment was super chill! Highly highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed!!!!

In a word: Outstanding! The tuna tostada and the chicken mole were “off the chart!” Dane as a waiter was attentive, and made the meal all the more enjoyable! This is a MUST stop Resturant if you are visiting Santa Barbara!

Very nice Tapa's. The flat steak was great and so was the Pulpo.

The seafood here is probably the best I have ever had. The pulpo cocktail in housemade clamato juice and the clams and chorizo dish really satisfy those cravings, plus they are super fresh!

We went here by accident for our anniversary while we were waiting for another table somewhere else- the mussels with chorizo were soooooo amazing I will come back just for that next time I'm in town!

Went here as soon as they opened for the day and it was perfect timing before it got too busy! For drinks, I got the mariposa cocktail of the day (delicious) and my gf got their Paloma which has a great smokiness and chili rim. For Appetizers we got the coliflor, the aguachile, and the crudo. Aguachile had a great spice, and was super refreshing. Only negative was we wished we had a couple more tostadas to enjoy with it because it was so good. Crudo was also very refreshing, and the pomegranate seeds and grapefruit chunks are a nice touch. Coliflor is more on the warm side, but the mole rojo and crema are straight bomby. Our mains were the pork belly taco, and the market fish. The pork belly has a great balance of flavors and textures. My first bite had that great crunch and some salt from the pork, with a sweetness from the sweet potato, and I thought I was missing some acidity, but the next bite with the juicy tomatoes gave me exactly what I was looking for. Market fish was ocean trout when we went, cooked in a banana leaf to perfection. Legit, it just pulled apart so easily with the fork, and the pineapple chunks and chiles add some great counter to the sweet fish. We finished with a strawberry tres leches cake, which is super creamy and sweet, but the strawberry purée makes it sing. The wait staff is incredibly friendly, and they are great at navigating allergies and making suggestions. Everyone moves quickly to ensure your water is always filled, your plates are out of the way, and your food exceeds expectations. The view from the patio is also a perfect way to catch the sunset!
