This spot had been on our list for years, but we hadn’t made it until recently and were so glad we finally popped in. The sandwiches are amazing. Fresh baked bread, incredibly fresh and generous toppings, and of course they live up to their namesake with delicious pickles. We’ll be back for sure!

Such a cute sandwich spot! The service is quick and friendly. Plenty of choices for sandwich's or salads! We loved the pickle bar they had! I had the chicken salad and it was really fresh and delicious!

My family and I have been looking for a great place to get sandwiches to go for football games up in SLO or a day on the beach. We struck out for years and watched the overall quality of food in the SB and Goleta area decline or get dominated by foo foo sandwiches/salads with weird ingredients. Not this place. 3 Pickles is a home run. So refreshing to get a great sandwich w good ole meats, cheeses, veggies (local grown avocado and bread. Super delicious! It's now a staple for my family - 3 generations of original nursery owners here in SB.

Really yummy spot with a great atmosphere!! Great place for meeting people for lunch and outside patio allowed a small dog. Very lovely and the pastrami sub sandwich was the BEST I’ve ever had!!

So I go to Anacapa School. Today I went to three pickles and was like its good so why not. I order the XL Presidio Pastrami on wheat. I end up getting the order and it is SMALL. Like it came in a sandwich form or idk what but I ended up paying $14 (after tip) for a SMALL sandwich. I have a photo attached. If you are a big eater like me AVOID three pickles as it will not fill you up and scam you out of you hard earned money. Good place but I am disappointed by the portions for the quality of food and price.

Best pastrami Ruben in town. Their soups are always good especially the clam chowder.

The cashier is awesome. She is friendly and patient. The "cooks" however are a little unorganized and lost my order. Still a great place.

I love the sandwiches here, but the blonde girl at the front is extremely rude and her demeanor is so unacceptable considering she's at the register and should greet all customers upon arrival. I have seen and heard her interactions with other people that have been in front of me in line and she greets them upon arrival with a smile and will say "thank you" at the end and offers them a bag for pickles/pepperoncinis. She has never spoken a word to me, looks at me with a glare and NEVER offers me a bag for pickles. Her behavior is extremely unacceptable. I hope the owner can see this a address this behavior.

The food was good and prepared promptly. The cashier, however, did not look happy that I walked into the business. She was not the least friendly. Sad, but I will take my business elsewhere where it is wanted.

This place has become our latest obsession, and we find every excuse to stop by and pick up subs. We usually order the ham and cheese and love all of the onions, pickles, and tomatoes piled on top. We also love the three pickles that come with it.

It was my first time at this location. They have a bar area and the atmosphere is casual. I appreciate that they had indoor and outdoor seating. I came with a couple friends during lunch and ordered the veggie cold sandwich. They gave me the option of yellow or Dijon mustard, I had to go with Dijon - makes me feel fancy. They also had an area where you could self serve yourself 3 types of pickles. I ordered my sandwich on the French roll because I wanted a thick bread. Great choice because i was so satisfied after, I also ordered their jalapeño chips. I was surprised the bag was not half empty like most usual chip bags. The cashier was nice and gave some suggestions. I'd definitely come back! (:

The subs and sandwiches are so tasty - whether you're a vegan or a meat eater it's a great choice for lunch. Three Pickles just opened another downtown location at on Chapala at Micheltorena. If you're in Goleta there's another open Mon-Fri. at 420 S.Fairview. My favorites are the meatball, the Cuban and Canon Perdido Club. The specials really ARE special too - you just have to call and find out if there's one the day you're hungry. Love the vibe, the people, the food. Tell 'em Mo sent me.
