This place has amazing birria. I had the birria de chivo, in a Mulita and in a Vampiro. The vampiro was my favorite. Service was great. Recommend recommend. Of course expect to pay for what you get. Around $20-30 per person. Only thing you’ll have to work for is parking.

Great street tacos, great price, and great service. 10/10 would recommend. I got two birria tacos and two pastor, both were great.

Quesabirria tacos were pretty good. We got the meal of 3 tacos for $17. They were very good and very pricey! The burrito with birria meat inside was okay nothing stood out but it was a decent burrito. This place is located on state street in a good area. The place is somewhat small with limited seating inside and an outdoor patio. Service was decent. State street is expectantly pricey but I think this place over did it a bit.

The Queso tacos are amazing. The birria is also incredibly good. Order the side of Consume if you are just getting birria a la carte items.....WELL WORTH IT. The service was great and we just stopped in for a couple of tacos (gotta have them when in Santa Barbara) and loved this place. A little small, but so are many other places on State St. As small as this location is, their food and service pack a huge punch for your appetite.

My girlfriend and I were introduced to birria in San Diego a few month ago at Mr.Birria in Santee. That was incredible and we loved it!!! We traveled up to Santa Barbara for the weekend and decided we would go out and try some birria at Yona Redz Birria, it was not good, we thought it was flavorless and not very tender personally the meat got stuck in my teeth. If it weren't for the spicy jalapenos they had at the salsa bar there wouldn't have been much flavor or spice at all. Very disappointed.

As advertised - THE BEST BIRRIA ON STATE STREET- everything was excellent; especially and most importantly the service. Erica helped us out and was very attentive, kind, and helpful. I went with my girlfriend and we were contemplating getting some agua Fresca and horchata but decided against it. Erica took our order gave us complimentary drinks and let me tell you, they also have the best horchata in town. We got the sampler platter with 3 birria tacos, 3 smaller street tacos and 3 potato taquitos. For $30, a great deal, we both left feeling full and satisfied. The space is quaint and laid back - ranchera music is a welcoming and fitting touch. The only downside - like everything in SB - they close too early for me; Birria always sounds nice after a night out. 5/5 stars, if you're looking for excellent Mexican food this is your spot.

In a city with more taquerias than you can count, Yona Redz makes some of the most delicious ones you can find. Traditional Street tacos with cilantro and onion for me with the really spicy Chile de Árbol salsa. If you're really hungry the Yona Special with 3 tacos (birria) and consomme to dip them in. Did I mention that those are quesotacos, if you haven't had one yet make it a priority. Inside and outside dining on the 500 block of State Street. Refreshing beverages too. You will not leave there hungry. Tell Yona I sent you!Parking: It's downtown Santa Barbara there are at least two city parking lots with 75 minutes free parking within walking distance of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: I have lunch there with my teenager and I always see parents in there teaching their kids what good food is all about.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entry and flat floors.
