This place is good! I got the #5 and soy sauce & garlic boneless chicken. Both items were super tasty. I would definitely return.

Service was top tier, the sauce was good but the chicken was a little dry. Breading was standard. However, I really like their sodduk sodduk!

The best fried Korean chicken in the area. Many special flavors to choose. My friends love the Soy one a lot

Second time coming here because I remember enjoying the food last time, and the food was just as good as I remembered. We came here on a weeknight so it wasn't busy, and the service was quick and friendly. There is a parking lot outside so it was easy to get a spot. We ordered half & half combos of the gal bi and yang nyum chicken and the half & half of fried rice and jja jang myun (black bean noodles). They give you three-finger gloves and a bone bucket, which I thought was really convenient and mess-free. All of the dishes come with great complimentary sides. The fried rice and jja jang myung had a side of jjam pong (seafood soup), yellow radish, onions, and bean paste. The chicken comes with shrimp chips and radish. The fried rice was nothing special, tastes like the average fried rice you get at most restaurants, and the jja jang myun was maybe a little too sweet for me but still good. I don't think I'd pair eating it with fried chicken though, personally. The jjam pong was great, it had shrimp, octopus, and the broth had such a strong shrimp flavor which was delicious. The fried chicken was super crispy and hot! I liked the wings over the drums because they seemed a little crispier. The yang nyum flavor tastes kinda like sweet&sour sauce.... without the sour, and the gal bi was the perfect balance between sweet and savory. The total was around $60 before tip, and we had plenty of leftovers to bring home. This place has great Korean fried chicken compared to others I've tried, and their other entrees are also very good. Definitely a top pick when I'm craving Korean fried chicken.

My favorite part of this place is the SooDuk! The first time I ain't sure was in Pleasanton it wasn't too good the rice cakes was hard and it was way too crispy this location does it right! The rice cakes were just crispy in the outside and soft and chewy in the inside it was amazing the sauce was on point not too spicy and not too sweet they do have a new chicken which is the crispy fried chicken which I need to go back and try but this place also has a parking lot so you don't have to look for parking and since I came back there are booths now So you can sit on it looks more like a restaurant style them before

Pretty solid Korean fried chicken joint with standard fixings and nice dining amenities for wing-eating. Of the wing flavors we tried, things seem a bit on the milder side and weren't terribly extraordinary, but textures were solid with a nice crispy/crunchy exterior and very moist chicken. Parking was straightforward with a dedicated strip lot and lots of spots open. Interior seating only, with mostly back-to-back style seating arrangements. Options for take out / QR code ordering, as this was the main way they took orders (tables have their own QR code too). Service was generally solid, with niceties like a metal bone bucket and disposable three-finger-gloves. Though the main FOH staff member was pretty busy, he still got us water refills readily without prompting. He did forget our radishes until prompted though, so good to double check on this. We settled on their "Half and Half" with mixed wings and drumsticks (it'd seem due to shortages there was no wings only or boneless options). We opted to have an additional sauce as the original style seemed to be sauce-less, so we got one order of their 'green onion' sauce (+$1.50). For the record: green onion sauce = horseradish/mustard, and it's not too much for dunking purposes, as it was only just kind of enough to flavor the wings. To Ttobongee's credit, the chicken came out blistering hot and freshly fried without too much of a wait (too hot to handle on the insides!). Chicken was nice and crispy without too thick of a batter outside and quite moist on the inside. Flavors were good, but needed more oomph as the Yang Nyum sauce wasn't very sweet or spicy. Original signature style was basically sans sauce, so the mustard sauce came in handy for that as it was rather bare otherwise. The little fried crisps were quite tasty and complemented the fried goodies well when dipped in the yang nyum sauce.

Korean fried chicken craving satisfied! Of the different options of restaurants serving kfc on El Camino, I gotta say this one is a new favorite. Their wings are crunchy, juicy, and delectable without compromising the meat of the wings and drums. I ordered their #3 which is half original and half yang nyum. It's really delicious and ever better with a cold beer! I also ordered the sodduk sodduk, two skewers of rice cakes and sausages lathered with a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce. I will say the size of the flats were tiny in comparison to drums. The drumsticks are fairly large and comparable to Bonchon. You can choose from wings only, drums only, or a combination of both. Their menu also breaks down how many of each you'll get. I ordered to-go and I didn't get those cool three-finger gloves, but I'm sure they'd give some if I asked. The sodduk sodduk also didn't come with shrimp chips like I saw in some photos. The restaurant itself is new and clean, kpop music shows playing on the screens, and about a 20 min wait for my order to be ready.

Ttobongee had been popping up on my Yelp as a recommended business for a while and as soon as I scrolled through the pictures, I knew I had to give them a try. For under $60, I ordered their half & half (ttobongee original fried chicken and yang nyum [sweet with Korean chili]) chicken, sodduk sodduk, jab chae, and shrimp chips. I also ordered 2 sides of mustard and spicy sauce. The portions were huge (we had been snacking on the box of shrimp chips for 3 days before we finally finished it) and everything was delicious. I really enjoyed the quality of the chicken and how perfectly it was fried. Even though the sweet and spicy sauce drenched the chicken, it was still crispy and made everything moist and flavorful. The sodduk sodduk had Korean street food vibes and the sausages complimented the rice cakes well. I probably won't order the jab chae again just because there wasn't much veggies or chicken and the noodles eventually all stuck together into a big mess, but it was yummy while it lasted. Highly recommend the shrimp chips- they stayed fresh for days! My only real complaint was how long the order took. The person who took our order was very nice and I saw him check our order a few times to make sure it was accurate. But we were told it would take 25 minutes for take out (we ordered at the register). We strolled around the plaza and the plaza next door, got boba, and then walked back to get our order, but we ended up waiting inside for an additional 20 minutes, making the total wait time around 45 minutes. By the time we received our food, the two tables that got seated when we came back the second time already got their food and had already started eating. It was so long and I was pretty hangry when we left. Overall, food is excellent, 5/5. But speed of service deserves a 1/5 stars.

I love KFC (korean fried chicken) and after a grocery haul I definitely wanted to try this place out since I was in the area. We went in the store around midday 3:30/4 and we were briefly greeted and looked over the menu. The guy at the counter didn't really say much and answered phone calls for to go orders pretty stern. We got the half/half combo which featured then original and nang yum. We also ordered two sides of rice and sodduk sodduk. Our order took about 20 minutes and the box was packed! Let me start of my saying the chicken itself are huge! There is so much flavor and meat on the chicken, this lasted us a couple meals. The flavor of the nang yum was so good and it paired so well with the steamed rice. The sodduk sodduk was also delicious, it comes with 2 but after I finished it I wish I had another order of it! Overall this place was SO good and the portions are huge. Don't forget to order the sodduk sodduk!

I'm not one to ever, ever seek out fried chicken. I'm never satisfied or enjoy eating fried chicken, but my friend who loves fried chicken was craving it today, so I said I'd try out his favorite place. We got the half/half combo (~$30) and some jjajangmyun ($8). The original chicken is my favorite! The skin is fried so well--light and crispy, not overly oily at all--and the chicken isn't stringy or dry at all (the main reason I don't like chicken), but here at Ttobongee, it's so juicy I forget that's how real fried chicken is supposed to be like. The other flavor in the combo is sweet & spicy, also really good, but not as good as the original in my opinion (again, take it from someone who doesn't eat fried chicken pretty much at all). Jjajangmyun: for the price point, it meets expectations. It's not hand-pulled noodles made with love; texture of noodles is like Asian spaghetti, but the jjajang is actually pretty good! I like Paik's noodle's jjajangmyun, and this place made their jjajang well enough that I'd come here for it if i couldn't go to Paik's! Overall, If you want to try real fried chicken (not Bon Chon or Von's), this is the place to go!

Great place for Korean fried chicken with different flavors than the usual stuff. I got the Galbi Chicken and the green onion chicken, which were delicious with juicy chicken. But the Galbi Chicken was slightly better in taste and flavor in that the flavor penetrated deeper into the chicken but the green onion chicken was crispier. The portions were very solid for the price and definitely worth it with normal flavors like soy garlic but also more innovative flavors like Galbi.

The business owner was rude . Treated customers badly. Yelled and screamed . Would not recommend this restaurant to customers .
