I had a terrible experience at Anjappar Chettinad. The restaurant served me raw chicken, which is completely unacceptable and a serious health hazard. I made the mistake of ordering the chicken lollipops, and I ended up with a severe case of food poisoning. It was a horrifying and unpleasant ordeal that could have been easily avoided if the food had been properly cooked.Adding insult to injury, no servers bothered to check on us throughout the entire meal. In fact, we had to take matters into our own hands and grab a water jug from a nearby table because no one attended to us. The lack of service and attention to customer needs was appalling.After this awful experience, I have no intention of ever returning to Anjappar Chettinad. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this establishment unless they want to risk their health and endure horrendous service. It was a truly disappointing and regrettable dining experience.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had. We ordered a Chicken 65 Biryani, while the Biryani looked good it wasn't until we served it on our plates did we realize that the Rice was not from a Chicken Biryani. It had mutton pieces in it. My wife is allergic to red meat and thank god nothing happened. But what's worse is we told them and they agreed to replace it, just to bring back the same rice again after 10 minutes. That is just unacceptable. They tried tricking us into eating the same thing again.If there was negative rating on Google that's what I'd give these guys. I should not have to go through this experience after paying 20$ for a biryani. If you are charging a premium for your food then you should match the level of service to that price tag.I'm spending the time to write this review to warn other people who have strict dietary restrictions. These restaurant folks need to understand that it's NOT a JOKEDietary restrictions: None!!! They do not tell you upfront and trick you into eating something you shouldn't be.

Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth in terms of quantity.The not-so-good: The spice level being a bit overwhelming, even for those who typically enjoy heat. It might be a good idea for the restaurant to offer a wider range of spice options. Also, a few reviews mentioned the service could be friendlier and more attentive.Overall, Anjappar Chettinad has the potential to be great, but some improvements could elevate the experience. If they can tone down the spice level a notch for non-fire-breathing customers and improve service.
